Matchbox Toy Cars Playset, Action Drivers Police Station Dispatch with Helicopter & Ford Police Car in 1:64 Scale with Lights & Sounds

This Action Drivers Playset- is a great and latest addition to the Action Drivers city playsets. The package arrived very quickly, The actual box was sealed in plastic and then placed in a box with padding. The set itself needs to be put together by an adult. Pay close attention to the picture on the back of the box. Each piece has a letter code printed on it. The playset can hold at least a dozen vehicles. It does come with a helicopter and a police car. The main gate, the traffic cop figure, and the lights and sound are activated by pushing down the helicopter pad. The only odd thing about this set-perhaps a design error (in my opinion) is the second-floor parking. It is not logical since there is no ramp to drive up or down. However, I have attached my solution to this. I went on line-copied an image of working dispatchers. I reduced the size, affixed it to cardboard, and stuck it behind the window. ( see the attached picture). While this solution is not needed to play with the set, it just makes perfect sense, and one can still park two cars up on that second level. However, I should mention that there is a ramp on the lower level, behind the main gate. There is room for at least three vehicles, but you may be able to add one or two more. When you press the landing pad and the main gate swings open, the ramp behind it is high enough that the car's stage there will shoot out, which is exciting. Finally, if you have not purchased any of these sets- they are built tough and well worth the price; they are or were not expensive. They fit together to create a town-and once connected- -it's large enough to cover a dining room table. HUGE. These are perfect gift for any child.

I picked this toy because I trust the Matchbox brand. It was a good price and so I got one for my son. He absolutely loves it. It comes with a police car and helicopter and makes noises. I love the whole Matchbox city building line as they all connect and it's great fun. I wish I had them when I was little. The buildings are easy to build too!

I wrote a big review for the Hot Wheels City sets that we bought for our 5 yr old son. Which he was and is still crazy about! These Match Box Action sets fit right together with the Hot Wheels City sets which was great because we bought some of these MB sets by accident. What we DID notice...is that although the Hot Wheels City sets are really nice, cool, etc....these MB Action sets are just a bit better than their HW cousins. There is just something about them that raises them up a little bit...in quality. You would know what I meant if you had one of each kind in front of you. This in no way says the HW City sets are not good! They ARE! It's just something we noticed when assembling all of the sets we bought. In the end, you can't go wrong with either brands sets. Tons of fun!

Generally good value and plenty of appeal for our 4 year old who loves cars and police. Nicely connects in with our other matchbox action driver sets to make a fun little town.

Nice product ,parts fit and stay together as needed. The price was good for this product . Note the landscape mat is a waste. It is only a thin piece of thin thin plastic like you fins in plastic bag.

Very nice fun and eazy to Assemble. Fits his other Matchbox action city. The build is very good dropped it already but nothing broke.

My son is obsessed!! He has other parts of the Matchbox city so this was a great addition. Easy to assemble and fun of kids.

My 4 years old son love this play set. Matchbox is such a great toy for kids around 4. It helps with their imagination. My son created his own little city. The police station comes with a police car and helicopter and it made sounds. It’s very easy to connect to the other city and it fits perfectly.

I bought this for my son a couple years ago and it still gets played with, still works properly and no breaks. Hours and hours of fun with this police station.
