Can these jars be used for traditional water-bath canning and fermentation, and do the lids provide an airtight seal?

Yes, the 2-piece lid design is specifically for water-bath canning. The vacuum seal forms as the jar cools. It’s also excellent for fermentation and pickling.

Are the metal lids rust-resistant, and what is the best way to clean them for long-term use?

Lids feature a rust-resistant finish. To maintain it, please hand wash and dry immediately with a cloth. Avoid soaking or air-drying in damp areas.

Do these jars follow standard mouth specifications for lid replacements and accessories?

Yes, these feature the Standard Regular Mouth (70mm). They are fully compatible with universal 70mm Mason jar accessories, such as mason jar lids from major brands, making them a versatile choice for your existing collection.

Is the glass durable for dishwasher and freezer use, and can it be heated in the microwave?

Made of thick soda-lime glass, these are dishwasher (glass only) and freezer safe (leave headspace). To prevent thermal shock, we do not recommend microwave or oven use.

Is this 120ml mason jar suitable for long-term jam storage, and what else can I use it for?

Yes, it’s ideal for long-term storage. The two-piece lid ensures a vacuum seal, perfect for mini jams, marmalades, or fruit curds. Also great for gourmet mustards, honey, and herb salts—a versatile choice for artisanal gifts.
