Perfect for handle bars that are the diameter of the mount.
Worked perfect for the application needed. Added LED lights to my son's quad. Good price point, well built. Installed in minutes, wire length was good. Was able to cut down the wiring on the lights to accommodate the smaller machine size. Would buy again.

Simple, looks sharp, exactly as described.
I bought this switch because I got a relay wiring harness for aux lights from the same brand that had a typical automotive switch, and I hoped this handlebar switch would be a direct plug and play with that harness - it was! -Install was easy, 2 screws and it fits snug on my 7/8th inch handlebars without moving around. -the switch has a rubber boot but I would say it is more of a water deterrent instead of a seal as the boot is held in place by the pressure of the switch clipped into the casing. -the wires coming out the back do have a nice thick wire loom or shrink wrap that I expect will protect the wires but there is no silicone or anything keeping water from the inside of the switch. I will probably add a drop of silicone myself, but I was glad they didnโt have it because it allows you to remove the switch from the casing if you need to for any reason. *Update: since writing the original review I have ridden my bike in heavy rainfall multiple times. The only way I could have exposed the switch to more water was if I submerged it in a bucket. No issues, no flickering, still works exactly as it should so I believe it is as water resistant as it needs to be for a motorcycle application. Overall happy with it, looks good on my bike and it works. Very easy install.

Decent, but upside down
Didn't realize this switch makes more sense if mounted hanging down below the bars instead of up above it which is probably more common. After I installed it, I realized that you push the bottom of the switch, flipping it down so to speak, to turn on the lights, and you push the upper part flip it up, to turn off the lights. Which is completely backwards from what most of us are doing, and I have a switch that looks exactly like this on a different motorcycle that works the opposite way. If you flip it around and mount it below the bars it will switch in a more accustomed manner, however for me that puts it in a position that doesn't work out well, and also I don't really like the screws facing up because moisture and dirt and grit sent into collect in the pockets and can cause corrosion issues etc. After I discovered the strange switching issue, I went back and looked at the pictures and found it interesting that they show the switch oriented within the housing two different ways. One way is the way I would prefer, one way is the way mine is actually set up. Would be nice if they actually offered them both ways, I don't know why there's pictures showing both. Other than that it seems to be made decently, haven't used it much other than testing but it works well and feels like it's fairly good quality, and it did plug right into their harness which was convenient and ads convenience later for performing work on the motorcycle. I've read where some people here say they had issues with the fit and had to remove some material. Nearly every two-piece handlebar clamp item I've ever used on a motorcycle has an interference fit like that, it's so that it will clamp firmly and not rotate on you. That is generally intentionally designed into these items to where they have that slightly out of roundness to them and have to be pushed onto the bars. That's fairly normal when dealing with a clamp-on item like this that doesn't rely on rubber or being made out of plastic so that it flexes when tightened. If an aluminum clamp on item like this were to just fit on the bars easily without that slight interference fit, then it would likely start moving at some point when being used especially since pressure is placed on one area giving it leverage to turn. Especially when you consider how tiny the screws are and that they are screwing into aluminum alloy, you would never be able to tighten the clamp down tight enough without stripping out the screw heads and/or threads.

Better then expected
So far so good on the kiddos quad actually built better then expected was able to add it right on to the Handel bars and darn near looks factory like it belongs there fits tight to the bars switch only takes light pressure to turn on and off very happy so far does require very small Allen wrench to tighten screws.

Definite upgrade!
Bought this to replace the cheaper one that came with my nilight LED lights! Love it and would definitely recommend. Far more weather proof than the initial one that comes with the lights.
