Anker Power Strip with 2100J Surge Protector, Outlet Extender, 20W, 12 AC

Like that this one has so many outlets and different USB ports. Perfect for what I was looking for.

Helped me clean up my rats nest of wires while giving me 3 extra charging ports. All ports put off power as rated. Holes for wall mounting could be bigger, or you can use double sided gorilla tape and just forget it (until you want to remove it, better have paint on hand). The plug spacing even lets me plug a ds charger next to my phone charger and they don't crash together. As with all of Anker's other products, it's overbuilt, and underpriced for what you're getting. Thing feels like a brick in your hand, which I like in a power strip, no give plugging things in, holds but doesn't make it impossible to remove. Just what you need to clean up your pc desk.

I have a fairly well equipped music studio and need lots of electrical outlets. This fits the bill in a compact and well designed receptacle, with very neatly optimized placement of 12 outlets with surge protection. The addition of 2 USB-A and USB-C plubs also very much comes in handy, especially for USB powered devices. It is working quite well.

The wide outlet spacing easily fits bulky power bricks side by side without blocking adjacent plugs. Having built-in fast-charging USB ports clears up clutter on the desk, and the 5ft heavy-duty cord gives great flexibility for power routing.

It's nice having a bunch of plugs in different orientations so that I can plug in a few devices with larger plugs. It's also really nice that it has a USB-C plug so that I don't need to keep switching my phone and watch off the same brick. I just leave the watch charger plugged into the power strip and it fast charges. Purchased this at the end of September 2025, it's now late January 2026. For the past two weeks the USB-A ports have not been working properly. As of today, neither will charge anything. I'm going to try to reach out to Anker before adjusting my start. Update 2-7-2026: I reached out to Anker support on Saturday 1/31/2026. I received a response via email early on the monring of Sunday 2/1/2026. They apologized and offered to send a replacement of the same power strip. I happily accepted. I received the package on Wednesday 2/4/2026 and set it up the next morning. The very first thing I checked were the two USB-A plugs, and neither worked. I flipped the switch to power the strip off, waited a couple minutes, then turned it back on. Then the USB-A plugs started working. I reached back out to Anker support in the evening on Thursday 2/5/2026 and told them what happened. I told them that I do not believe this can not be an isolated incident as it's happened to two of the same model, only difference being that with the new one it happened immediately, but with the first one it was about four months before any issues arose. I also asked if they could either replace with a different, less expensive power strip that will hopefully not have this issue. I just heard back from Anker support this evening, 2/7/2026. They said: "we will arrange for a replacement model A9183 to be provided to you, based on your needs. However, our Quality Engineers have requested to have the troubled device returned to them so that they may investigate the origin of the defect to improve our product. Any replacement process will only commence after the inspection is completed and the contents of the package are verified. Once your replacement is shipped, you should receive it within 5-7 working days." I'm on the east coast, this is going to Cali via USPS. I'm guessing I'll be getting a different power strip in March. For those wondering, "if you just need to power off the strip and power it back up, whats the issue". This is not normal function of the power strip and I have devices connected that should be powered up 24/7.

Another great product from Anker as I’ve come to expect with this being the sixth product from them . The quality is very good with the power cord being heavier gauge/ insulation than most also having a 90 degree plug to keep it very tight to the wall without putting a stressful bend in the cord. It has some weight to it compared to others making it feel more substantial like they didn’t skimp on internal components and exterior plastics. The AC outlets are spaced in a way that allows everything to fit properly without having to jockey certain plugs in certain locations to avoid interference. The USB outlets work as advertised and my IPhone 15 chargers quickly with the USB C port. It came with mounting screws and mounted easily. The addition positive that was a pleasant surprise for me was when registering for warranty I simply entered my Amazon order number and it automatically registered this and the Anker car charger that was on the same order so that was pretty cool. I feel like all their products I’ve got it’s worth the price and they stay at a reasonable price point for the quality.

Lots of inputs and spacing options available. Very light weight construction so it moves around with lots of stiff cords. But there is always the option of screwing it down. Wish the power light was not so tiny to make it easier to see if on or off. But all in all, does what it's supposed to do.

Well made. Plug-ins are well placed and plenty of them for my needs. Strip isn’t bulky like some I’ve seen.

I bought the Anker Power Strip Surge Protector (2100J) on December 3, 2024, and it has been an excellent purchase. Great powerstrip so far. I love the layout of the plugs allowing for a pretty wide array of AC adaptor sizes and the USB options. My only note: it is mountable but the only option is 2 screws, personally i dont like the idea of drilling into my wall near where i know there is power cables (it is a power strip after all) so i would appreciate it if it came with a 3m tapable wall prong. Thats really not a big deal though as the strip works great and as advertised

I now have five of these in my home and I love them. They're my go-to power strip now. The outlet layout is fantastic, allowing me to use power bricks and standard cords easily without much crowding. The USB ports are a nice touch too; the USB-C power delivery works to fast charge my devices, and the USB-A ports ensure legacy compatibility. I've mounted them to walls, desks, and just used them on a shelf. They're great in all both orientations, but they cannot be mounted horizontally. That's a minor knock on an otherwise excellent power bar. I will be buying many more of these in the future.

Have slowly been switching out all my old power bars, with these. Love how many plug spaces there are, and the USB ports are great for charging devices. Also, the flat style wall plug, makes it easier to plug in behind furniture; without have to worry about pinching or damaging the plug or cord.
