I had hiccups for a week after surgery. Two doctors I went to didn't know what to do. I got this from Amazon on a 4 hour delivery that I paid an extra $2 for. It had my hiccups stopped immediately. I had to use every couple hours for the rest of the evening to keep them away, probably a dozen times. The key was that my hiccups stopped. A great invention. I will always keep one in my medicine cabinet.

I bought this thing months ago and conveniently never got the hiccups until today. On the rare occasion that I do get the hiccups, it's always a several hour ordeal that leaves my throat sore and my voice hoarse. Have never been able to find a "cure" that works every time. Finally got the chance to try out this straw today and I am please to find out that it works immediately. Could've been a pavlovian response, only time will tell, but for the time being I am very pleased.

(Stardate.. jk..) May 13th, 2025 I originally stated that it offered no help to my teenage son, and the company reached out to me and offered a full refund. So they do stand by their product and appear to good people. UPDATE Sep 18th, 2025 I'm glad I chose to keep it instead of returning for a refund. Even though it didn't help my son, it has on several occasions now, helped take away hiccups from my toddle daughter. So it does work, and even works well in some cases. Changing 1 star to 4 stars but after additional consideration, I feel like it deserves 5 stars. Daughter had hiccups on and off over the course of several hours. With the 1st sip of this straw her hiccups stopped and with the 2nd straw sip, her hiccups remained to scared, too afraid to come back.

This seems like a good idea and good product but unfortunately it didn't work for me but my hiccups are from a medical condition and I've had them for 20 years but I was hopeful.

Tried this for the grandkids. Works like a charm! Wish I had gotten them long ago. Simple to use just follow instructions. Works every time.

I really can't believe that this works . . . but it does. Problem is you have to access to it by carrying it around with you.

I have had hiccups every day for eight years. My only relief has been when I sleep. The HiccAway does not cure hiccups but it does provide some relief. It is important to drink at least one full glass of water when using the device. In my case, there is a bit of delay before the hiccups actually stop. Good product and good service!

This works brilliantly! I bought it a little sceptically after seeing it on Shark Tank but it really does work and is a first aid box essential for us now
