So I’m love with this book. Read it in one night

I am an African American young woman, age 24, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I've read the second book in the series and that one is amazing as well! Wahida is an amazing author! I love how she references music song titles and artists to give more of a vibe and more imagery. I've started a playlist of all the songs she references on my Apple Music and I must say, not only is Wahida an amazing author she's also a pretty good DJ! lol This book is fast paced with many twists and turns. The characters are lovable and relatable. We all have a few girlfriends who share many of the characteristics and habits (good or bad) of the women in this series! MUST READ!!

Man this book was bomb! Wahida is no joke and is as real as they come concerning what we women put up with just to be with a man. This story follow three young women: Angel Kyra and Jaz who are college students determined not to be products of their envoirment but the only thing slightly standing in their are the men they love N when jaz trys to make ends being the dope girl she gets more than what she bargain for n kyra loves living on the edge with her boyfriend marvin but will it be her last ride? And Angel is looking to finish law school but with her crazy boyfriend Snake who is also a pimp but also loves her n treat her more like a woman than he does his hoes his only problem is he that he put his hands on her and he won't retire from the game. The plot was well-thought out and it had good character development and the end leaves you wanting to know more. I can't wait to read her second installment cause this one was FIRE! First off let me just say that I'm a huge fan. I read "Every Thugs Needs a Lady" a few years ago, and never new there was a series. I'm a book worm and can/will read a good book in one day. I started this book Sunday around 6pm, and finished it around 9pm. This book will have you locked in and zoned out while reading it. You will not want to put it down. Since I've already read "Every Thug Needs a Lady" this book " Thugs and The Women Who Love Them" answered a lot of questions. Like Jaz and her criminal charges, and a lot of other things that I was lost on. I ordered the whole series and I'm reading through every day. I start them, and be done with them in the next few hours. I love the books and the writer.

Omg this book was so good!!! I read it within 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down. I would have finished it sooner if I didn’t have kids and things to do. Highly recommend!!! I can’t wait til the next one comes in

This book packed a punch. Action , lust, character development, plot movement, drama, and alpha men made this story one that I could not stop listening to for one second. I listed on audible and Cary Hite as expected brought Wahida's word to life. The characters and situation had a ring of truth and realness to them that made you connect with them even if none of this is in your background.

This is my second time ordering I moved and lost this one I have the entire series I first started reading them in 2018 I’ve read each book at least 10 times lol that’s how good they are every time I read them they get better and better a must buy

This book is a must read. Excellently written by an obviously talented author. I enjoyed every page and the style of writing. The book seems realistic and really paints vivid images in your head (its like watching a movie). However, the ending of the book really bugs me and left me thinking there has to be a part two. I am now a big fan of Ms Wahida Clark. A book worth reading!!!!!

If you enjoy thug passion and a gangster life style this is defo the book 2 live in! Its impossible 2 put dwn once picked up i read it within a day and ordered all 3 follow on books the next day! Wahida iv gotta give u ur props on these books especially because i can relate 2 certain situations in them! Keep up the good work girl i'm an OFFICIAL FAN! :-D

I loved this book. It was light reading, entertaining and definitely a page turner. It was well written and was easy to follow and get into and I liked that it just jumped straight into the story without a lot of beating around the bush. Would recommend to anyone who likes urban fiction
