Best Fracture Boot!!!
This is my third fracture boot, and by far the best one I’ve ever worn! The first boot I got was from urgent care, and caused me such great pain to my foot. The second one I got was off of Amazon, and it was better than the first one. But this fracture boot, protects my foot, protects my toes, and is very very comfortable. I work security for a living and broke my ankle while on duty, at this fracture boot helps keep my foot from hurting for a full 10 hours. I highly recommend this fracture boot!!!

Not for me
Still trying to decide. Have only tried it a few times in the house after using my high boot to figure out if it is more comfortable and supportive. Still not sure. Will try a few more times and ask my orthopedic surgeon for his opinion for which support he recommends. Will post upon a follow-up; Update: while the boot is well constructed, it just isn't working for me. It hurts my shin bone even with the little bumper pads provided.

Low Version works well for 5' 3" person
I have a pretty bad low ankle sprain, and I'm suppose to wear this for 2 - 3 weeks to immobilize my ankle. I wear a size 6.5 womens and the small has about 1.5" of room in front of the toe. I maybe could have ordered the extra small and it would have been more compact. I ordered the lower version because I'm only 5'3" and the tall one seemed too heavy for me. The version works well for me. It really should be worn even for small trips up and about. It helps to wear this with the other foot having a heal, so the gait is smoother. Being a woman, I have options. I wear 2" or 2.5" wedge sandal on the other foot, but there will be a few work days when I wear a low pump. Tips - wear crew sock with liner since you cannot wash liner or it ruins the air bladders. - make sure the liner knob is in deflated mode when you put it on. - when you put liner into boot, loosely thread straps, then tighten straps starting at the top - then turn knob to inflate and pump it until the ankle is secure - if possible, try to have as normal a gait / stride as possible so you don't make your hip or back sore.
