Nature's Bounty Fenugreek, 100 Count with Gelatin, Contains Silica, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate

This is going to be a long review because you just have to read the whole story. This supplement has saved me! I'm a first time mom, eager to exclusively breastfeed my son. When he was about 10 weeks old something with my milk supply went wrong. I went to the lactation nurse, she checked my pump, it was fine. I purchased different flange sizes for my pump (I think that helped also). I was only able to pump 1-2 oz after 45 minutes (20-25 minutes each side) I was ready to just buy formula.She suggested I try Fenugreek and Mothers Milk. I got this bottle in around 11 am. I took two at noon. I pumped at 3pm for 30 minutes (both sides). I got 3.5 oz! I know it's not a lot but to me it's like winning the lottery! I've only had 2 pills and 1 8oz cup of Mothers Milk Tea. I'm so happy with this, even if it's not the only thing helping with my supply. I'm signing up for the monthly subscription. I'm SO thankful I tried this. The pills are big but they're not impossible. They smell sweet like maple syrup so that helps! I'm in love. Really, when you're just about to give up and something comes along that just works it's like you're a new person. If you're stuggling with milk supply like I am/was DONT GIVE UP! Try and try again. This is only day 1. I will give an update in a few weeks, possibly after I finish the bottle but right now, I'm a huge fan! ****~~UPDATE~~**** (9/29) I finished up the bottle! Just wanted to add a few more comments to my review. 1) I noticed that when I sweat it smells the way the pills do, like maple syrup. I didnt mind it at all actually. Even with deodorant you still smell the Fenugreek. 2) Milk supply stayed the same after it had increased from 1oz to 3oz. Everybody is different, I'm just glad I have milk for my baby period. So it definitely helped increase the supply but not dramatically. 3) Empty out everytime and drink lots of water. That's almost always the reason to blame for decreased production. The supplement can only do so much. You gotta help do the rest. 4.) Really upset this is an add on now, I ordered a different brand and already dislike them. This brand has better quality. No taste and good quality, big but still manageable to swallow.

Once I started taking these consistently I smelt good. My underarms smelt like maple. It wasn’t a strong smell but I smelt sweet. I didn’t cause any stomach problems. Took them every morning. easy to swallow and need to buy another bottle, quality was good.

Has helped in combination with a few other things. I was stressing out about not producing enough milk for my little one. With pumping both sides I was getting barely an ounce. That wasn't enough so I had to supplement. I started doing research and this was the herb recommended. I started taking these along with eating lactation cookies and it helped increase my output to about 3 oz per sessions which is really good for me. The other thing is that I had stopped taking my metformin meds and then restarted taking it. It helped I think with the increase. So if you are on metformin don't stop taking it as I think it will decrease your supply of you aren't consistently taking that along with the fenugreek.

This product 100% will have you smelling sweet in the lower region. Some say it is a maple syrup smell but it is sweet nonetheless. 100% worth trying as long as you check with your doctor before adding it to your daily regimen.

My only red flag is that the red 610 mg is missing on the front label and it is shown on Amazon. The bottle smells like maple syrup and I did smell like maple syrup myself after 1 week. Just be careful and I am suggesting to just buy it in store somewhere just to make sure it is legit.

I bought this to help increase my milk production when breast pumping. As with any vitamin, you will never see results right away, Or if you’re inconsistent. I found that this worked for me, Even though I did see some moms say that it stopped there production or On the flip-side it really worked…so I took a chance. I did take this in combination with Milk Thistle as well as Omega, Vitamin D, Magnesium (obviously not all at the same time). I felt like adding this vitamin to My routine really helped upkeep my milk production for my newborn

Amazing and value for your money

I was recommended to take these by my LC to help with my milk supply. It did help increase my supply slightly and does not have any after taste.

I liked that they reduce your body odour as a side effect and they do kind of make you smell like maple syrup! A very nice added bonus. I didn't feel any changes in my mood or energy levels, but I'd like to hope they were doing something. I disliked that if you let it linger in your mouth too long it starts to taste kind of bitter and like fennel? But I did just take them with water and tried to swallow them quickly. They are also a bit hard to swallow as they tend to stick around in your mouth. Sometimes I would need 3 sips of water and a big gulp to get them down. They honestly aren't a great value for the money, especially if you are taking 2 pills twice a day. You go through the bottle very quickly and have to re-up often. But if you don't mind paying and prefer natural supplements, these might be for you. I used the supplements for balancing my sugar levels -- my dad is a diabetic and I'm trying to be careful not to become so myself. However, without noticing any changes and feeling like they are too expensive to be going through them so fast, I probably won't be purchasing them again.
