This kept my toddler busy for over an hour. He was able to play by himself, and then we would play matching games and pretend I needed help to match the animals to the cards. The card have good information in them, pictures are clear and colorful. The figurines are a decent size and have no defects that we have noticed. I wish there were even more categories so we can get more!

Our toddler loves these even though he can’t read he was able to match the animals and had fun matching them up.

I wasn’t a big fan of the size is a bit small in my opinion. But they were great to freeze! My kids had fun freeing the animals. It is fun for kids of different ages.

Our favorite matching game for my 2 year old! I wish so badly there were more games like this, maybe fruits/farm animals/colors! We have learned so much and as any toddler mom knows- 20 minutes of educational games is so nice!

My child loves matching the animals to the cards and even try’s to “test” me on them. Lots of fun and great detail to the animals

My Grandkids enjoy the cards and animals. They put the animals on the cards; we put the animals in the middle and pull out a card and they find the animal that matches. We look at the detail and try to figure out what is something important about that animal. Well done cards and animals. We have a large quart size bag we put them in after each use so they are ready the next time we want to play with them.

I got this because we had the Montessori animal matching game from Lovevery but lost some of the pieces and Lovevery does not offer replacement parts. Although the product says it is for ages 3+, this is an activity that should be introduced much earlier like 18 months or so. I bought it for my 18 month old. The Lovevery version uses wooden tiles instead of cards, but more importantly the pictures on the tiles are very clear and match the figures exactly. This product uses cards for the pictures, which are not as durable as tiles, but are cheaper to make, so that is not the reason it lost 2 stars. This product also uses pictures of real animals that do not match the figurines. I suppose this makes it more challenging and is not necessarily a flaw, so this is also not the reason it lost 2 stars. The reason it loses 2 stars is because some of the pictures on the cards are dark and it is hard to see the animal in detail. The gorilla, black bear, hippo, and buffalo are particularly hard to distinguish. Also, I personally would prefer if the pictures were only of the animals and had no background. If they improved the quality of the pictures, I would give it 5 stars.

These are a favorite toy of my 1.5 year old. Great for learning animals, and the perfect size for tiny hands. The animals can withstand banging around and a few excursions with the family dog. The “animal facts” on the back of the cards are written in English but don’t always make sense, so we don’t use that part of the toy much. Would absolutely buy again.
