It's loud and it works!
There are already a lot of photos and videos of this product so I will not beat a dead horse. I can see where there could be some problems with placement of the alarm. If you were to put it in a place that gets more vibration or unmitigated shocks, I could see it being damaged. However, if you think critically about where you place the it, you should not have any problems. I installed this on my ebike and it has been working great. Too good, sometimes, like when I forget to turn it off before unlocking it from the bike rack or going to jump on it to take off from behind my house. Everything works very well though I have not gone in to change settings at all because the first time I pressed any button it was the emergency button, in my bedroom, and it was earsplitting. Seriously the neighbor upstairs probably thought... I don't know what I would have thought but it would have woke up the whole house and my ears were ringing. I have seen the issues some people have with the fob. Maybe they will eventually make one a little stronger so that you can put it on your keys, but for my purposes, I did not even really want this on my key ring and I had a better solution just sitting around anyway, which I will post a picture of. I just wear it around my neck but under my shirt when I have the ebike with me. Works great for me. The price was great for what this thing does. If you get a good lock and have this thing armed, I mean, as soon as a person would go to position their bolt cutter or angle grinder, this thing will start making some noise... very loud noise, and you really have to be in the hood for this to go unnoticed and for it not to scare the hell out of them. When I go into a store in the day I just park the bike in a car spot and arm the alarm. It ain't going anywhere. Try out a flat lanyard like in this photo for the fob and it should not break. For me, this is an easy five star item. I waited a little while to write the review just in case it broke early on but I have about a hundred miles on the bike and everything is perfectly cromulent. I recommend it. Thank you.

Loud and sensitive to movement!
This is my 2nd time purchasing. I use them for my bikes along with a cable lock. Anything to slow down a thief is good with me. If they want it badly enough they will get it but this is VERY loud so hopefully the sound will deter them because it’s not visible. It is very loud AND sensitive. Came with remote

easy to use, reliable, & loud
I've used this alarm for around 9 months now. It gives me great peace of mind when I have to take my eyes off my bike for a couple minutes. It still works good-as-new even now. Let's talk about the details: INSTALLATION The alarm comes with zipties to attach to your bike. I have a very well-concealed black part of my frame that works nicely for this. Underneath your seat is another good option. If you want extreme protection, you can use metal zipties. Keep in mind that you will need to eventually replace the battery, and you might need to cut through the metal zipties to do so. Have the necessary tools ready (probably a Dremel). SETTING THE ALARM Easy enough, just press the big round button on the remote. You can be pretty far away to do so. One complaint: the alarm makes a loud beep when you set it. This makes sense: you want to know the alarm's going to be loud. It's not so great for crowded places though: expect a lot of attention. I wish there was a quieter beep when you set the alarm and a separate "test" functionality that let you inspect the loudness of it. TRIGGERING THE ALARM The alarm is extremely sensitive. The smallest touch will set it off. It will allow some movement after initially setting the alarm though. Triggering the alarm causes with a moderately loud warning beep, followed by an ear-splittingly loud alarm if you keep moving the bike around. UNSETTING THE ALARM Works just like setting the alarm. Again: it makes a loud noise, and I really wish it made a quieter one so I didn't have to disturb other people around me. MAINTENANCE This is a pretty simple device. You don't need to do much to maintain it. At some point (9 months for me) the alarm will start making a warning beep for low battery. The alarm itself takes 3 AAA batteries. It can be kind of hard to open: the alarm comes with a special plastic triangle for prying it open. This is another thing I would improve: why not just have some Phillips-head screws? IMPORTANT: replace the remote's battery whenever you replace the alarm's battery. The remote will not alert you if it has low battery. It will last longer than the alarm batteries, though. So once the alarm alerts you of low battery, replenish it and the remote. The remote takes a single A27 battery. This is a standard battery size that's easy to find. It's very easy to replace the remote's battery with a small Phillips-head screwdriver.

Great value for the price.
There’s obviously more expensive ones out there but it gets the job done. Volume is loud enough for my liking. Warning sound will go off first then the actual alarm if the item keeps getting moved. Deterrent an attempted theft on my motorcycle. Size is decent and small enough.

LOUD, EXTREMELY LOUD
This works great! I definitely feel better knowing my motorcycle has an OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD and SENSITIVE alarm while it's parked outside :) The remote is a good size, slimmer than it seems, the actual alarm is on the bigger side, but it still fit unseen!

Instructions are unintelligible, but it works and is LOUD
Lost a star because the instructions are nonsensical. I had to pore through a few YouTube videos to figure out how to change its settings. And, it has an odd SOS function that I accidentally engaged while trying to set ringtones, sensitivity, and volume. I had to reset the device to factory default to get the SOS function to turn off. Lost another star because you can’t select the motion alarm’s ring tone. You can, however, set the ringtone for the “find me” button. I liked those alarms sounds better than the default set at the factory for the motion alarm itself. But, this thing is LOUD. And it is very inexpensive. I’m keeping it. I have an older car that does not have an alarm and this is a cheap way to arm that car. Plus, I’m thinking of using the alarm for backpacking trips. I’ll keep it in the bear canister and arm it once I stash the canister for the night. Buy it; the price is right.

Scare Away/ Slow Down Bike Thieve’s Device
On opening up the alarm to try out the batteries and the device, I had a concern. The screw seemed really cheap, as did the screw driver. I was worried about stripping the screw itself or the plastic. But I used my own Phillips screw driver and gently got that screw out to proceed to the next step of opening up the alarm box. They give you a plastic device that looks like a guitar pick and that was useless in trying to open up the alarm box. I got two slot head screw drivers and used those to wedge away at the tightly sealed plastic. I ended up chipping the plastic a bit opening up the two halves. Next, was installing the three triple A batteries. They looked real cheap, so I threw those away and used high quality batteries I purchased separately. The batteries installed securely. Everything looked intact inside, so I put the alarm box together again to try it out. Next, was trying to read the very, very small print instructions with my big magnifying glass. I gave up on that and went to You Tube to find instructions there and I did. So I slowly went through setting up the remote control’s three buttons. That went well and discovered, an excellent bike horn. The seven different high pitched alarm to chose from in pitch and the three different types of noise was a perfect deterrent noise. I don’t get my new e-bike until May and can’t install/ try it out until then. But I’ll install the alarm with the tie wraps and the two-sided stickers provided. The location will be under my seat in the posterior direction to keep it drier. Once you activate your alarm, by the remote button. The first disturbance (dependent on sensitivity setting you chose. I suggest the 4th level) your alarm sounds a warning short beep. On the SECOND disturbance of your bike, then the continued alarming begins. The noise definitely will attract onlookers and annoy your bike thief. This remote is effective for 60 feet away. My Apple Air Tag will be located under the bike seat, just inches away from this alarm - under black Gorilla Tape. The remote control will be located by my right thumb on the handle bar, because of that cool sounding horn. I use my plastic rescue whistle as well and a flicker bell alarm to warn people ahead, I am coming behind them. Then I announce verbally, “passing to your left” and carefully pass other hikers on the bike pathways. The color black blends into my seat and bike rack color and the looks of the alarm appears esthetically good for my bike. Overall, I am confident the alarm/ horn will endure a long time and will do its job to SCARE AWAY THE THIEF or at least slow down the bike thief. Even though the bike horn will be located under my bike seat, I am again confident pedestrians and other bikers will hear this horn. So good price and apparently good, effective bike alarm!!
