Classic Look with all round technology.
Not had this long. But I can tell straight out of the box it is a quality radio. Looks retro with all the modern day technology. Simple to use just remember to use the mode but to select what you want to listen to. Each press will toggle around the settings whether it be the DAB radio or even listening to your favourite music on your USB stick. Noticed if you want to listen to the USB the format has to be MP3. Otherwise it will not read the file. Simple fix just convert the file to MP3. Great sound as well. A good base which can be change to your preference. I live in a area that radio signals is very crackly. But the DAB radio signal is crisp on this. I have also connected to my WiFi to open up more radio stations. I found I prepared to type in the password rather than pressing my hub. This can be achieved using the dial and toddling through the letters and number then pressing the dial in to select. Fiddly but achievable and once connected that is it. Highly recommended getting rechargeable batteries also. I have but in six AA Energizer batteries which can be charged inside the unit itself via the cable that come as with it. The display will show the status of your battery and will show when charged. Just make sure to switch the switch over inside the battery cover to input you are using rechargeable batteries. This is great for traveling and makes it portable.

Great sound quality and looks to die for.
I was writing a review for another product and this Roberts Revival radio showed as waiting for a review. I don't oftenwrite reviews but after about a year of using this radio to its full I felt compelled to comment. Delivered on time and well packaged. It is a true delight to use with great sound quality for a radio of this size. Aside from this Roberts Revival Radio I also have a Roberts Stream 107 (cheaper and much smaller) and a Roberts Stream 941 (no longer available but more expensive and larger). This Roberts Revival outperforms the Stream 107 in every category and comes a very, very close second in sound quality to the Stream 941 which is not portable. This Roberts Revival is a delight to have in any room, its looks come close to a work of art. I love it. Fiddly to operate (but still emminently usable), so I use the recommended UNDOK app on my mobile which allows me to operate it from that - ideal. Pound for pound this radio exceptional value for money. It works on mains power and also AA rechargeable batteries. The fully charged batteries last me about four hours. I really can't fault it, great sound quality, superb looks and excellent value for money.

Tons of functionality squeezed into a beautiful retro package
I’ve always liked the styling of the Revival range and the iStream3L offers the most functionality, benefitting from WiFi connectivity opening up your options of stations from all around the world in good clarity. DAB reception is patchy where I live so I tend to use the internet mode for all of my listening. Upon opening the box you get the impression of excellent build quality, the casing is reassuringly heavy, the gold accents in the grille and Roberts logo are beautiful and the stitching is pristine. Setup was very simple - the setup guide takes you through each step and the screen is easy to read and navigate. The easiest way to join your WiFi network is by using WPS, a simple one button press on my router got me hooked up - handy as the passcode contains lots of different characters in upper and lower case. I would recommend installing either the UNDOK or Oktiv apps to better control the radio, from here you can toggle the power, change volume and listening modes and even browse and search for stations as well as storing presets. If using Spotify, the radio is Connect compliant meaning it can be activated within the Spotify app and will begin streaming immediately. Sound quality is very good, it is not a Hi-Fi and uses a mono speaker set, but unless you’re having a house party it is adequate in terms of volume and richness. There is an equaliser that has preset modes or you can set your own, but I have not felt the need to tinker. I mainly listen to pop/rock and find it a pleasing listen for hours on end. There is a 3.5mm line out socket which you might found useful to hook up to your hi-fi or surround system. There is also a headphone socket and aux in socket on the top left of the control panel, it’s a shame that despite having Bluetooth on board, this is only an input and the iStream3L cannot be used with wireless headphones. I have installed 6xAA batteries in the bottom, when plugged in I keep the Roberts on my bedside table but I like the flexibility to take into the kitchen or living room without having to worry about an outlet. I have found battery life to be good around 10 hours, note the radio only charges when switched off though. There are 40 presets available in each mode and these are best stored and navigating using the app although it is possible using the unit itself. I chose charcoal grey for mine but to be honest all the colours look fantastic and the iStream3L is bound to look stylish wherever you place it. As well as being a nice sounding versatile unit it manages to be a piece of discrete decor too and I don’t think any other brand manages to blend this cocktail of functionality and style as well as Roberts do. All in all, a fantastic unit that has brought many hours of reliable, enjoyable listening without buffering or drop outs. Most sources are covered - DAB+, internet radio, Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Aux In and even good old FM.

Excellent retro radio, with internet choice of stations!
Excellent radio, good sound quality like the retro style. Like so many others have said before i prefer that it uses the undok app as that is much better than the new Roberts app. The phone app makes it very easy to change the station and search for so many internet stations out there. You can also use the oktiv app. I would recommend buying a radio that has the internet now, as you have so many radio stations to choose from. Build quality is good. I use my phone to control the radio as it is so easy, but the controls on the radio are easy to get used to.

Very pleased. Value for (substantial) money. Very user friendly for setup and use. Great design, Kids and adults appreciated It alike. Only minor complaint for me in Italy was that It comes with a UK plug only.

Absolutely amazing! This was the best upgrade I made from Robert's Rambler BT radio. The sound quality to me is great and I love the fact that I can connect it to the home network and continue to watch videos or make calls on my phone without it broadcasting the content. Connecting Spotify was easy as well as tuning the radio stations and presetting my favourites. Definitely a worthwhile investment and I couldn't recommend it more.

Tonal qualities are very good. Build quality is great. But, please, please, when sold in Australia supply an Australian power plug. Otherwise 5 stars
