Wonderful book
As a teacher and a student of yoga, this book is a wonderful resource, both for my own learning and practice and also for bringing insight into my teachings. I highly recommend this fantastic book!

Practical, informative and use it on an almost daily basis
I love this book, both for my meditation classes (great and original scripts and a bit more modern than the traditional yoga nidra scripts), lovely readings with yin poses that I use in Shavasana in my yoga classes. The yin poses are well explained and lots of options and consideration of all the props that you could use. Really happy I got this book.

The best yoga book Iโve ever bought!
I have literally used this book at the end of every yoga class I have taught! Itโs so good and one every teacher should have to hand. The short meditations are amazing, well written and so easy to read out. I totally resonate with Sagels style, this has been the best book Iโve bought.

wonderful book, so much in detail
This is wonderful book. Great resource for both yoga teachers and students to deepen yin yoga practice and teaching. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars, because I found this book hard to follow. Maybe it's just me, or I just need to keep reading from beginning to the end. I am not very good at reading books, so maybe that is why. However, I do love some of meditations and use them in my classes. Very inspiring.

So much heart and wisdom in this book
I'm such a fan of this book! I am yet to find another book on yin and meditation that is more comprehensive and accessible. Whether you are a teacher or student, this book caters to all in abundance. I keep coming back to it again and again because there is so much wisdom shared, you can't possibly absorb it in one go. You can read it sequentially, as it as designed, but I also like to randomly land on pages and take my time to digest the insightful jewels and learning shared. I enjoy using the beautiful meditations with my children at bedtime - it never fails to settle them quickly off to sleep. The storytelling is engaging throughout and I love the way Sagel subtly weaves in energetic practice. This book is full of heart and it's challenging to encapsulate how special it is in words. You really need to read it for yourself to experience what a treasure this book is and the infinite value it will add to your life. Thank you Sagel. I am grateful for sharing your sincere and heartfelt teachings.

Excellent Resource for Yin Yoga Instructors
I purchased This book without knowing anything about Sagel and knowing a little about yin yoga. That was a couple years ago. It has since become my goto and I am so very grateful to Sagel for creating such an intuitive, caring and trusted companion for any yin yoga instructor or for anyone looking to become a yin yoga instructor! Please take her training. I just completed her 40hr yin yoga virtual training and it is just as detailed and full of even more information to prepare you as a trusted yin yoga instructor!

Take your Yin practice to a new depth!
Sagel absolutely hits it out of the park with this book...if hitting it out of the park can be related to the practice of Yin yoga!!! The respect that she shows in the roots of Yin and the teachings of Taoism, Buddhism and Qigong is very much appreciated. These teachings go back thousands of year, and while not presented in depth, which she acknowledges, they do form the foundations of her teachings. Beyond that the book gives great detail of various Yin Asanas that practitioners and teachers can combine with an amazing collection of mediations and thought provoking explorations. I deeply recommend this book to anyone interested in the practices if Yin yoga and meditation. Thank you for sharing your gift of Yin and meditation with the world!
