These are great masks! The materials are durable, and the filtration is reliable (NIOSH-approved N95 - this was important when choosing). The main advantage is that they fit snugly to the face, preventing air from leaking in at the sides, thanks to the adjustable nose clip and comfortable elastic straps. It's easy to breathe in them, the exhalation valve effectively removes heat and moisture, and there's no feeling of stuffiness. I wear them on the subway and public transport for extra protection. I am completely confident that this mask provides reliable protection. Of course, it doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing with its rather large valve that stands out noticeably on the face. But for me, health is more important than appearance, and I'm willing to put up with this for such effective protection. I recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable respirator for household chores, allergies, or everyday protection on public transport. 5 stars!

Works as they should just the seal up top isn’t perfect so if you have safety glasses they do fog up a little but still better then lots of other mask I’ve used. Also they are a little on the smaller size they ended up just bearly fitting over my chin while still being on the bridge of my nose

Basic face masks with loops over the ears provide some protection against dusts and a casual sneeze. They are not good enough for hazardous infectious or dust particles. Medical workers typically wear N-95 respirators, which are shaped to fit the face of the individual user and mounted with dual elastic bands for a tight fit. However, these are hot to wear and often lead to fogging of safety eyewear. The Cool Flow masks are like medical N-95s but have a one-way valve that allows the user to exhale more freely but closes when he inhales. This wouldn’t be good in routine health care, where masks often protect against infection transmitted by the person wearing them. But it is very useful against noxious dusts. I work with high-silicon stone, which is very hazardous. I do it outdoors, with the wind at my back, and a mask. Even with a mask, it would be unthinkable indoors. I find the Cool Flow as comfortable as one could expect, and they don’t often lead to fogging of eyewear. I can see a lot of blocked dust around the edges of used masks, a sign they’re working well.

These were the best idea ever for my husband who uses them for lawn care. They also were great idea for my teens spray paint art for their bikes outside.

I consider these the best if a bit uncomfortable dust masks. I have used many over the years. The vent for exhausting breath makes big difference in hot weather. This was the best price I could find so a very good value.
