Clockwise vs CounterCW matters
Verify which direction hose screws into a/c unit.It is either CW or CCW. No matter what you read hose is not both. You can not simply flip it over. Made that mistake trusting another review.Product was great!

I bought this to sell a portable air conditioner that had a damaged hose.
I bought this to substitute for the damaged exhaust hose of a gray (Sharpe) portable air conditioner. This worked great and was even of higher quality than the original. I did this to sell the thing, and the buyer was very happy with the whole purchase.

I bought this as a replacement for one that lasted about 4 years before it began to break down. It's very flexible and the perfect length for my portable unit.

Was pleased that this exhaust hose was available for next day free delivery. We had a early heat wave and had to get out the portable air conditioners. Went to put the exhaust hose on the air conditioner and gave it a pull to stretch it out and it just ripped apart. Not what I wanted when the house was getting very warm. Got online and found this replacement hose with free next day delivery. It arrived the next day before 2pm, which is when our house starts to get heated on those very warm days. Installed it and had the air conditioner up and running in less that 5 minutes. What a relief!

This is an updated review purchased 2018 taking it down for the fall 2020 hose fell apart will have to get another one for next use. Worked for a couple of seasons used duct tape to connect to portable air conditioner but will probably order another kind for next season

Fit almost perfectly on a Whirlpool acp102pr2 Portable Room Air Conditioner (easy adaptation)! Since the exact diameter of the exhaust hose for this product seems to be a highly-guarded top-secret fact (looked/searched everywhere - not even Whirlpool could tell me) ;>), it was nice to get something that was exactly what it said it was so I could at least guess!
