Rode NT-USB Mini Case

If you have a RODE USB mic and want to take it anywhere with you, this is the case you need. The mic fits perfectly inside and is very well protected. There is also a little pocket to hold the USB-C cable, making it extra user-friendly. The case itself is extremely lightweight, but it’s solid and really provides protection. I just went on a long trip to Australia and Asia, and this case did an amazing job of protecting my microphone. It was safe and secure in my suitcase and did exactly what it was intended to do. Super functional and excellent value for money, especially in protecting an expensive piece of equipment.

I bought this so I could take my Rode NT-USB Mini with me on a trip. I didn't want the mic just being bashed about by being loose inside my laptop bag. The case is pretty good. It is basically a generic case with a moulded insert that fits the mic very snugly. There are elasticated strips with velcro on the ends to hold the mic in place. The insert can be removed so the case can be used for items other than the mic if you feel like it. There is a mesh section on the other side that can be used to hold the USB cable and any other little items (like the tripod mount adapter that comes with the mic) but as this is not fully enclosed any small items will probably end up rattling around inside the case. There is a carrying handle but it is a bit superfluous to my own requirements. The case did the job perfectly, so five stars. It is perhaps not brilliant value for money since it is over one-fifth of the cost of the mic itself which seems a bit on the high side but the Rode is my favourite mic at the moment so I thought it deserved a bit of protection.

I was on the fence before purchasing but I'm so glad I purchased this to protect my microphone as I travel. I was afraid the material might be cheap and bendable, but this thing in solid. When you push down on it, it doesn't cave in which is exactly what I wanted. The microphone fits snugly in the case with no wiggle room which makes me feel confident it won't get shaken around in my bag. The zip is also great and glides smoothly. The red detailing is nice as well.

Fits perfectly and keeps your expensive mic well protected, arrived quite quickly as well:-)

Solid built. Fits my Rhode pod mic USB which is impossible to find a case for, at least at a reasonable price.
