I just pop one in the detergent compartment, close it up, and run the cycle. No mess, no issues. I also appreciate that the ingredient list is actually readable and doesn't look like a chemistry experiment. I try to avoid phosphates and all that harsh stuff, especially because our dishwasher drains into a septic system and I don't want to mess that up. These are septic safe which is great, and they're also better for the environment which is a nice bonus. Price-wise they're definitely more expensive than the budget dishwasher detergent at the grocery store, but comparable to the name brand pods I was using before. And honestly I'd rather pay a bit more for something that actually works well and doesn't leave my dishes coated in weird film. One thing I've noticed is that I don't have to use rinse aid anymore. With my old detergent I absolutely needed rinse aid or everything would come out with water spots all over it. With these pods my dishes dry perfectly without any rinse aid. That actually saves me money because I'm not buying rinse aid every month, so the higher cost of the pods kind of evens out. My dishwasher also seems cleaner since I switched. I used to have to run those dishwasher cleaner tablets every month because it would start smelling funky and getting buildup inside. Now I haven't needed to do that at all. The interior of my dishwasher stays clean and doesn't develop that gross smell. I showed these to my sister who has sensitive skin and she ended up getting them too because she was having issues with her dishes irritating her skin. She thinks it was the residue from her old detergent. She's been using Molly's Suds for a few weeks now and said her skin issues cleared up, so that's another bonus. The container lasts me about a month and a half running the dishwasher probably 5 times a week. So you get a decent number of pods per container. I keep a backup container in my pantry so I don't run out, but one container definitely lasts a while. If you're on the fence about trying a more natural dishwasher detergent because you're worried it won't actually clean well, I'd say definitely give these a shot. They work just as well if not better than the conventional brands, they don't leave residue, they're gentler on your dishes and your dishwasher, and they don't fill your kitchen with chemical smells. I've fully switched over and I'm not going back to my old brand.

A great everyday product for everyone. My family has switched to toxin-free products over a year ago. Molly’s Suds Dishwasher Pods leave our dishes as clean as Cascade Pods. The benefit with these is they are without dyes and fragrances. We no longer have to worry about chemicals leaking into our food. They’re a bit more expensive than other brands, but worth the cost. A pack of 120 lasts me a long time. I recommend these to everyone using a dishwasher and wanting a safer and cleaner product.

These pods are expensive, but it’s worth it. It works better than the toxic Cascade i’ve used for years because all the “natural” ones did not clean well and left white residue. This one does not and cleans really well. No scent, which I like, and the plastic dissolves perfectly.

This better alternative dish washing powder works great! I do rinse the food off my dishes but everything has always came out very clean and shiny. My dishwasher is also 8 years old. No powder left on them and the machine smells nice when they are done.

The soap itself is fine and seems to work well in my countertop dishwasher. The issue I had with this item was that at least 50% of the pods burst before arriving to me and left their contents at the bottom of the bag with the little pod shells left throughout the bag like shed snake skins. I don't know if this is a manufacturer issue or something that went wrong during shipping, but it was frustrating to open the bag for the first time and find such a mess. I can still use the soap at least, and the cleaning power seems effective. I might try to buy locally from now on though to avoid this issue in the future.

An amazing product. Happy I purchased this. It leaves baby bottles and teats sparkling clean unlike other products that I have used that leave a film on the bottle teats.

I've been using these for a couple of weeks now, no complaints. They perform just as well as the large corporate brands, without the harmful chemicals.
