I really like this grinder. I previously had battery-operated grinders that worked by turning them upside down, but they knocked over easily and eventually started acting up. This one doesn't require batteries, is easy to use, and feels much more reliable. I like that it has an adjustable setting so I can choose how fine or coarse I want the grind. It also stands securely and doesn't tip over easily. Overall, a great grinder that works well and is simple to use.

***PLEASE NOTE: This review is only for the more expensive version here with the all metal grinding mechanism and not the cheaper version that looks the same but has a ceramic grinder that’s also available on this page — hope this helps avoid potential confusion. My advice is to splurge on the metal grinder version. ***UPDATE 3/18/26*** Well, after almost two years of fairly heavy daily use the first flaw has emerged so thought I’d share. Yesterday the silver wrapping on the grinder part came loose making it hard to turn the grinder as it was slipping. I did a quick fix by adding some super glue around the seam at the top of the grinder and that’s done the trick at least for now. I’m leaving my 5-star rating because I remain thrilled with its overall performance and frankly would’ve ordered another one if this fix didn’t work, but so far it appears to be holding. 🤞 So still very happy but just wanted to share in case anyone else experiences this. ***UPDATE 8/18/25*** So I’ve now had this for over a year, and under pretty heavy daily use I’m happy to report it still works as well as the day I bought it. Great product, and it’s a pleasure to use every day. ***UPDATE 10/3/2024*** So, after almost four months of pretty heavy daily use I just wanted to report back that this grinder continues to work perfectly and shows every sign of lasting for years to come. I especially like the glass jar so I can see when I’m running low on black peppercorns, and even though it’s got a small form factor it holds a lot so I don’t have to refill it frequently despite using it multiple times daily. I’m super happy with this product all around and recommend it highly!!! ================================ Been using this for a few days now and am very happy so far. I’ve used a traditional wood pepper mill my whole life, but now it’s just me so I wanted something smaller and with a glass body so I can easily see when I need to add more peppercorns. I also wanted an all metal grinding mechanism (that this version has for an few dollars more) instead of ceramic, which doesn’t seem to hold up as well, and I definitely wanted no plastic parts involved in the actual grinding either — don’t need any more microplastics in my diet thank you. This one seemed to check all the boxes, and so far it’s been great. Initially it was set to a more fine, powdery grind, but it was super easy to adjust to a more course grind that I prefer and it’s perfect. Overall it seems well built and is very easy to use, and as long as this holds up it’s a definite keeper. I’ll report back if any future mishaps, but as of now I’d recommend this very highly!

This spice grinder grinds my cumin and coriander seeds perfectly with very little effort and it’s attractive. I’m sure it will last longer than my plastic one that broke recently. Very happy with my purchase!

The pepper grinder looks nice and initially functioned well as expected. However, as at least 9 other reviewers have noted experiencing, within 2 weeks of purchase and after very minimal usage, the black retaining ring around the grinder cone & adjustment knob just fell out when I was using the grinder, which was disappointing and indicative of poor design or construction for this part. After some research & experimentation, I was able to pop the ring back into place using needle-nose pliers (you just need something hard and narrow to push and flex the ring a bit, not necessarily pliers). I'm hoping that this is not a harbinger of other problems to come. Otherwise it's a nice grinder.

So glad I purchased these. I’ve had them several months and am pleased with their performance. I had been using the battery operated upside down ones and they always jammed up or I had to replace six batteries in each constantly. Not good. These are extremely easy to use just tip it upside down and turn it a few times. I am a black pepper addict and the coarseness of this Peppermill is perfect. I put pink Himalayan salt in the other one and I’m good to go. They look good on my counter also.

Good quality for an inexpensive salt/pepper grinder. Works fine and should last a reasonable time

The mill delivers a nice grind of pepper and is easy to use. However, I was hoping the mount for the grinder was metal. Similar plastic mounts have broken after a short time.

Nice, heavy duty GLASS and steel grinder that can handle rock salt. The cap is plastic, however, which subtracts a point. Easy to clean and light enough to use. The capacity is surprisingly large and the clear glass makes it easy to see when to refill, unlike more solid or wood grinders.

These are great, been using them a while with salt & pepper and they are both still working well.

Absolute scam product! After just a few weeks the burr became rusty. God knows how much rust we have ingested before we realized this. This seller should be banned from Amazon.
