Lots of torque, functioning headlights. A good value.
This is a great little RC car rock crawler. It has a removable bed cover, which the boys like because they can put their stuff inside. It has lots of torque so it can crawl over lots of obstacles. Something I would know is that the rubber tires do come off of the rim from time to time, but the boys are able to fix it themselves. But overall, this is a great value for the money. It has functioning headlights. It’s not built for speed, but the boys are very pleased with the speed. They make obstacles all over the house for it to crawl over. We have had it for four months and and they play with it regularly. So I am pleased with the quality.

Awesome trucks!
These cars are fun as heck! The accessories like mirrors, windshield wipers, snorkel etc. will fall off if you do a lot of rock crawling/rolling over and the suspension is bouncy and the tires are a little stiff to get great traction but for half the price of the name brand ones they are a ton of fun. If you are a purest scale crawler type should probably move along. If you want to have fun off roading these cars are great. I have the red truck with the cage bed and two of the blue trucks with white camper and they are holding up to quite the beating. Batteries last long enough to get bored and quit before it goes dead most times...at least half an hour.

We returned it.
We needed up returning. My son had a blast with it, it was really good 4x4, he could get up and through almost anything. The issues is the components were crap and something was always breaking even with gentle use, just driving it. We tried but replacement parts but then something else would just break. The battery life was decent and charging time wasn’t bad either, I just wish the parts weren’t so cheap.

Pretty decent for the price
I picked this up on sale so the price was a little lower but it's pretty decent. Steering and throttle are both proportional, driveline and suspension are simulated. Assembly is relatively easy, though some parts don't seem to want to fit on mine (like the tailgate handle and bed cover gate). There are also no assembly instructions so it's a bit of a puzzle. Decals are the actual kind and not just stickers, but I think it's weird that there's only one 4x4 sticker and no front logo or gauge cluster. Off road performance is pretty decent. Battery lasts 40 minutes to an hour for me. Parts should be upgradable which is a good thing because the stock front shocks are really stiff. Squishier suspension would help handling. I might also get it grippier tires. It's not fast but it's a crawler so it's okay. It runs at about my walking speed. Overall a solid truck for the price besides a few things.

This is good for the price point
This is a real deal rock crawler, low gear ratio, so it is not fast. It pulls itself up slowly like a real wheeler would. It has real suspension- real driveshafts, axles, transfercase. As an inexpensive entry, it is a good starting point if you want to see if you like rc rock crawling with out throwing big money into it. If you already know you want to get into this, then you probably want one of the higher end vehicles

Truck itself is cool but battery’s aren’t safe
The battery’s lasted a whole minute they started smoking and if we hadn’t caught it in time would’ve caught fire. Wasted gifts and money.

Can't afford a toyota 4x4? have childhood joy of living your dreams through this rc. Loved putting it together and smiled for miles once I charged up the battery and started driving around. You get some extra parts with it and honesty if it fails to work at least you have a cool toyota model. It's a toy and it was not expensive and I love it. Thank you.

For what you pay its a good buy. Front end is a little loose ,The wheels are wobbly on the front ,I'm hoping upgraded tires and rims fix it. No instructions to put parts on ,The back window I would put handle on first before installing it . Ca on the side topper windows also.

I'm hoping the seller can contact me. I bought 2 of these and they are actually very good for the money. However they are 2.4ghz. They shouldn't interfere with eachother. But I have 2 that cannot be used together. They cut eachother out. They didn't do this for the first week. Now my kids can't play together.

Huge improvements over the old model I bought 4 years ago. Full proportional steering and throttle out of the box. Steel differential gears! Even FMS has plastic diff gears at nearly 4x the price. Make sure you grease up your gearbox and axle gears, they will last much longer as there is little to no lubrication in them from the factory. I installed a hobbywing 1060 and 3s lipo, beat the crap out of it for 2 days on all stock parts, and nothing has failed! I recommend getting the metal suspension kit and driveshafts, just incase you break something.
