Levi's Men's 541 Athletic Fit Jeans (Seasonal)

First, these jeans are designed for those with larger thigh muscles--most likely from weight lifting. As a regular weight lifter, I had trouble fitting into regular jeans, and, baggy jeans just don't look right. The only pair I found that fit well were a cheap pair from a local retail store, but the looks weren't so great. If you fit into 501's or 505's just fine, these jeans will most likely feel strange and you will not like them. Keep that in mind. One day, my friend recommended these jeans: they are just what I've been looking for. There is ample quad-room yet the jeans taper and fit comfortably around the calf, without creating an unpleasant baggy look. Also, they have a regular, high waist. A big problem I've had with Levi's in the past is that a lot of their popular jeans are low-cut, which I find extraordinarily unpleasant as a man. These jeans are also softer and lighter than many I've had in the past. The 1% spandex probably influences this, as the jeans feel to stretch more than any I've had before. These jeans feel great to wear, but still get a little sweaty on super hot or humid days. The length and waist feel true to size. I have one pair now and plan on buying a few more soon. Hopefully Levi's keeps these jeans, they are certainly a winner.

These pants were a pretty good and well priced thing to get. Surprisingly these jeans feel pretty good. I have been needing a new pair of jeans for work. The one thing about this is that the fabric is really light and protective. You can easily move around in these and it is comfortable to be in all day. It is fairly breathable so you can walk around in them outside. If you happen to sweat though, this does stick to the skin. I would say it is pretty warm and be great for the winter but not so much for the summer. It also has a fly so you can easily go to the bathroom. The zipper is pretty strong so you should not have to worry about it breaking. The pants fit pretty well and do not agitate or irritate my skin (unless I am sweating and it stick to my skin). The pants fit as expected so I did not have much issue in wearing them. One thing I will note about this is that you should get a size up if you are the very edge of the measurement chart. I found that the one size up actually fit better. They do not sag or anything. This can be machine washed however I would recommend that they be washed under heavy duty and cold washed to keep the color from running and overall I think this pants are great. They are comfortable, flexible, and look great. I am able to wear these outside as well as be comfortable in them all day. I probably would wear them casually to hangs out and such. The color looks great and washing them is not too difficult.

This review is for 3 different colors of the Levi's 541 Jeans. I was very excited to find the 541 fit, I had never tried them on before, and generally have a hard time finding jeans that are comfortable and look fashionable (enough). These are not skinny jeans or slim fit jeans by any means, and for people looking at 541s that is probably not a reality anyway. I am 6'5 and have larger thighs and butt due to athletics and working out my entire life. I can squeeze 511s on in a 36x36, but am left with a baggy waist and thighs that are busting through the seems. For years I wore 505s, I still like them, they are comfortable and not too baggy. But, I wanted to find a pair of jeans that was a little more tapered and fashionable to be worn with a nice shirt or sport coat if need be. I tired some higher priced brands, but its hard to find a 36 inch inseam that you aren't paying over $150 for. Then I found the 541. These jeans are great, more tapered than the 505s but enough room in the seat and thigh to be comfortable. The only downside to these and the reason for 4 stars is the lack of consistency in sizing. In 505s I wear a 34x36, and I read a few reviews that said to go a size up, so my natural thought was try 36x36. I ordered 3 colors, Lake Merrit, Midnight and Rigid Dragon. I will list the sizes and thought below, because I ended up ordering 10 pairs of jeans and returning 7. Lake Merrit - more stretch and give in the waist and thigh. True to size in 505s. 36x36 WAY big, 35x36 a little roomy, 34x36 just right. Midnight - 36x36 too big, 34x36 - very tight in the thighs, 35x36 a little roomy on the waist, but way more comfortable in the thigh. Rigid Dragon - 36x36 initially felt ok- stretched alot too big, 35x36 - ordered a few of this size because one felt tiny and short, and the other ended up being just about right. went with one of the 35x36s. Overall a great product if you have an athletic build and want a more tapered fit.

Really great pair of jeans! I am a big guy and usually buy my jeans anywhere from 50-52 in waist. I've been experimenting recently with levi's brand because they make the Athletic cut for big sizes now. And they are more form fitting and give less of that "trash baggy" look that comes with buying jeans as a big guy. I Love how they fit. You can always tell that they're big jeans- because at the end of the day, I'm still a big guy. But one interesting thing that I will note is that I decided to try to get a few sizes smaller to see if I could pull it off. I haven't lost weight or anything- I just ordered a 48 because with the Athletic cut jeans, no matter the brand, the cut makes it possible to actually wear/fit smaller sizes around your waist. Well I ordered a 48 and they fit amazing. But I dare say that I could even order a 46 to get a look where they me a tighter fit. As a guy who usually rocks 52 or 50, size 48 feels kind of loose. I like I need to tighten my belt. I know that they are a little on the expensive side. But if you can swing it, think of it as paying for quality and craftsmanship fitting. I am definitely going to order again and try for a size 46!

541’s are simply the best Levi’s for Big and/or Tall guy. The fit is perfect. Roomy in the caboose and thigh area, but not baggy. Which is important because it gives a slimmer look, which allows me to wear for work and my street wear look. The pants are also tapered which allows me to not only wear my work boots, but also my Jordan’s, Nike’s, etc. The best part is the selection of colors that are offered for the 541’s!! Denim in blue and black are the classic colors. But Olive, Khaki, Camo, Gray, and Ripped options are available. Providing versatility and variety to my wardrobe is very hard to find for my size. I know all you can agree with that. All at an affordable price! I got this particular item for only $25.79! That‘s right, a pair of Authentic Levi’s for $25.79! How could I pass that up! Now I’m always looking for another great deal. Thank you Levi’s and Amazon for making this available, at an affordable price!

Good quality jeans. Fit is always hard to discuss because we’re all built a bit different. I have thick thighs and usually have to buy a size up to be comfortable. However this ends up giving me a loose waist and way too much material around the calves. This is my first time trying an Athletic fit. I still had to buy a size up, so the waist is still a bit large, but the thighs and the calves fit well. As with anything else, you’ll have to try them to see if they will work for you, but don’t remove the tags until you know for sure you want to keep them (to avoid any problems with returning). Personally, I’m happy with the quality and fit and will look for these again.

Levi's nunca defrauda

No connection between the color in the pictures and the real one, but this never bothered me at Levi's 541. Since I've known I wear 541, because I have muscular legs and I didn't put too much emphasis on color, but on the way I feel. fit, on the bottom and thighs. But the color of the jeans received is also beautiful even if, I repeat, it is completely different from the one in the picture. So, be careful, if you want exactly that shade, you don't risk ordering it online, but if you are more flexible in tastes you can order ... for sure, the jeans you will receive will be beautiful. The series of jeans received is exact (18181-0062) as the one on the site, so it is not the seller who is wrong.
