Can this filter actually be used for whole house filtration or only under sink??

I use this in my Motor home (whole small house) along with a 1 micron sediment pre-filter in a twin housing and it really varies how long it will last based on the water quality going into the unit. I've been in a few southwest US locations it only lasts a few hundred gallons in 30 days and most times it makes it 90 days before I change it. IF I had a family of 4 using more water regularly, and the water going into the filter is fairly contaminated I would find a larger housing and a filter designed for the specific work load. Yes, filtering a smaller volume of better quality water this CB filter will work for a whole house application changing filters regularly.

Can this be used to replace a filter that fits in a waterpure CCI-10-clw filter assembly?

Which nsf standards? nsf 42 material?

It states that it meets nsf standards. I believe that would include the nsf 42 which would be for taste and odor.

Will this work? Looking to replace Kenmore or Sears 34370, 34377, 34365 or 34362. 2-phase water system.
