IF you need to do that, you'd probably be better off gluing in a plastic pipe nipple with reinforcements on each side and threading that. **Q: How to use those cable glands coming with the box?** A: Hello there, thanks for your interest and we took a rough video to show how to apply cable glands when you need to connet wire to project you gonna install inside the box.Following are some tips: Reserved holes can be drilled or knocked out by flat head screwdriver (please keep lid closed) and may be polished sometimes.; This box comes with NPT1/2 cable gland that fits cable range 0.24in-0.47in(6-12mm), other size can be ordered from our store. **Q: Up to what size cable do the cable glands accommodate?
