Affordable and legit special tool part to use. Experienced mechanic/technician level. Need to know "how to do". Used and performed tool on my BMW 525i 2007 3.0L head cylinder. Did a replacement due to oil filter housing broken bolt hole and excessively engine oil seep. Unable to bolt on correctly so head cylinder needed replacement. 5 out of 5 for me on this special tool.

The kit worked well to set timing on my 2011 F10 with n55 after replacing both vanos gears.

All the pieces were there but the items had stripped threads oil in the case and the case itself was cracked. I don't recommend this product at all.

8/8/22 update - timing still spot on without any timing codes. If you’re reading this, just buy it. In the market for a timing tool for a N52, this is one to get. No issues with fit. 100% worked. One word of caution, just make sure you 100% find TDC. I thought I had it but it was off by 2 degrees. If the tool isn’t lining up, you’re off by a degree. BTW don’t spin the crank counterclockwise or you’re gonna mess up the chain tension!

Fits perfectly and helped get the job done one bolt on the top didn't align right for the cam holder but cam was still aligned.
