This seems to help my pain when nothing else does. If I wake up in the middle of the night from back pain, this helps ease the discomfort. Regular use helps me sleep more easily. It’s a little heavier than it looks like it should be, but not bad. Its size and shape makes me think of a lightsaber. The laser does not work as one so be careful about looking at it with the light on, you should turn your face away or wear protective glasses. It comes with a nice holder to keep it from getting scratched or damaged. It’s solidly built though, so I think it would still be a tough thing to hurt it if you weren’t intending to. Also it holds a charge for a very long time.

Cold laser therapy is not new for me. I have a friend who is naturopathic doctor and has treated me for joint pain, wound healing, surgery, etc. and know it works. I've been looking for a device for awhile but the prices were just too high and there are too many "fake" devices out there. I heard about this one and decided to try it out. It doesn't have all the different frequencies as my friends does but, for the price, I figured it would be worth a try. I've only had it a few days now but, I've been treating myself for a split ligament in my ankle and it has reduced the pain level considerably! I took it to my friend and he said that it would be fine for what I need but not to expect it to work like his cold laser. His cost over $10k though! So far the battery has lasted since it's first charge and I've been using it three times a day. One thing I saw in a few reviews was people complaining about the price of the battery. It uses an INR18650 3.5ah battery which can be found at several places online. You just need to make sure you get one with the correct output specifications. It's actually the same size battery that my tatical flashlight uses only it's a different amp hour rating. Nothing special about it.

I have RA and OA in my hands. The pain was so bad I was barely functioning, and that was with naproxen and epsom soaks on top of my usual meds. I noticed significant improvement by about day 3 of using this light. I ordered a panel light, as well, which may come in handy, at some point, but I found that THAT light was too much. This smaller light allows me to target the specific joints that need attention. I've been using it for over two months, so I've reached the point where I can just use it as needed. It's hard to imagine that I could go from useless and whimpering in pain to this almost normal functioning in such a short time. But, just to be clear, it is not a cure. It is pain relief, and that is no small thing. The only problem I have with it is that for someone with arthritis pain in their hands, a handheld device can be difficult. I solved this by ordering a couple of beanbag cushions that are long enough to support my hand/forearm and the device. This allows me to position my hand in a way that minimizes strain and eliminates the need for me to hold the device. It's the best thing I've bought for pain. I absolutely recommend it.

This is a great potable red light therapy wand. I was having red light therapy at my doctors office to heal my back that had fractured. Although the device he used was much much stronger than this, it definitely helps. I just use short sessions often. It is sleek and sturdy, easy to hold and guide it over the area that needs the therapy. Rechargeable, and very much worth the money. It comes with the dark glasses for eye protection and a sturdy case to safely hold every thing. I use it on my sore joints, and to heal my broken spider veins. I wish I had bought my own sooner. The battery needs recharging often at first, but the more I used it the faster it seemed to recoup the charge.
