I like the part at the elbow that supports your arm, plus I bought the zippered cover for the elbow part (paired with this listing) which has a Velcro strap. That addition makes it so much easier to let go of the grip so I can do something with my hands, and the crutches don’t fall over. I bought the set of two (an option when I purchased) rather than just one, and am very glad I did because I use only one inside the house but when I take my daily half hour walk outside it really is easier to walk (and less energy draining) using two. I am feeling some progress with healing with my knee because A. The crutches make it so I can continue my daily walks, and keeping moving is necessary for my type of knee joint issue, and B. This helps reduce the load on my bad knee which is also beneficial. Note: These are not the type of crutches that allow you to not put your foot on the ground at all (or maybe I’m too uncoordinated for that), but these are something you use when you want to start putting some weight on your leg/ankle/knee but need some help. These have been a remarkable game changer for me! These and glucosamine chondroitin capsules, that is!

I purchased these for a friend who’s dependent on these forearm crutches. She had recently been at the hospital for a procedure, and after that procedure, the staff had forgotten to hand her the one crutch. She’s on disability, and a limited income. The hospital was a good 3 hour drive from where she lives and couldn’t go back for it. It’s like breaking in a new pair of shoes for her. She uses the new pair a few hours at a time. She Loves them, they are comfortable, and especially likes the convenient reflectors on both the front and the back of each crutch. I thought they were reasonably priced. And well manufactured.

I've gone through several pairs of these and find them very helpful for walking stability. They are light, easily adjusted but, perhaps a bit too thin because if you fall, they aren't that hard to break. Usually right around one of the adjustment holes. The rubber tips are decent, but beware of wet surfaces, as some can still be slippery. There's a washer installed inside the tips. I've added a thin piece of cork on top of the metal washer to add some additional life to the rubber tips.

Really comfortable to use. I like the arm support.

Before and after knee surgery these were great. I felt stable after replacements and helped so much.

For $39 you can’t beat it. I broke my ankle and needed crutches, read the under arm crutches could potentially cause nerve damage, so opted for an alternative. The first week walking with these were pretty ok. The adjustment piece is a tad bit difficult to remove easily, but overall simple to adjust height. Week two: the padding grips are very thin, your hands will ache and will become moderately to severely sore, much so that at the end of week two some morning I just couldn’t use them without really hurting my hands and feeling the pain. I’m a 38 yr old female, weigh about 128 lbs and worked out 2-3 a week with body weight and weights, so I know it’s not because I wasn’t strong enough or used to the force grip, lack of thick quality rubber is to blame. The metal scratches VERY easily. HOWEVER, given the price of $39 , I expected it wasn’t going to be ultra comfortable. I would say if you are going to use this longer than two weeks, you should spend the money for comfort while your body recovers where it is supposed to. The crutches keep dropping on me as the underarm brackets are far to wide.

These are light weight and easy to put together. The arm brace as well as the handle offer extra arm stability when weight bearing. These are easy to store and travel well. Adjustable height and light to use. Helps my dad with his mobility. Works so well to provide the addition support. Excellent quality for the price.
