Worthless Helmet
I ordered the Outlaw Helmets T68 Glossy Black Motorcycle Half Helmet for Men & Women DOT Approved. First, it doesn't fit at all. It's also designed to make it look like you're growing a huge mushroom cap on top of your head. The restraint (chin strap) sucks, and the little red snap together pieces don't fit together well, they're nearly impossible to snap together with the helmet on. The helmet is stamped on the outside (DOT) US FMVSS No. 218, but there is NO tag on the inside under the liner to legitimize DOT requirements. I showed the helmet to a friend who is a certified rep for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and she told me it was NOT a legitimate DOT helmet. No surprise seeing as it was made in Taiwan, and had I known that from the product description I never would have bought it to begin with. Finally, it's supposed to have a pull down visor, a big selling point to me, and there is NOT ANY kind of visor, at all.I will add that Amazon handled both the purchase experience as well as the return situation very well. Full blame goes to the manufacturer.
