Vacuum Cleaner Brush with Headlights for Hardwood & Carpet for Dyson DC59 V6

My original Dysan kit came with a floor power head but to my dismay the instructions said it was not recommended for hardwood floors! Then when I went to see about getting the Dysan version of the hardwood floor power head, they wanted to charge an exorbitant price! This power head is a perfect option that will work great with the Dysan V10 vacuum. It is very reasonably priced, has great suction power and the roller for hardwood floors is a nice soft nap that brushes everything into the stream of vacuum without scratching the floor. It is fully maneuverable and has a nice LED lightset at the front to highlight crud in front of it. The best thing about this power head is that because if brushes all the crud and hair so readily into its vacuum, the charge of the vacuum actually lasts longer! I don't have to keep going over a spot to lift up the dirt like when using just the brush nozzles. This means I can vacuum more of the room before the charge dies and the floor is actually cleaner. Great addition without the cost!

We have been using this vacuum head for over a year now and are very happy with our purchase. Unlike other generic products that we used, this one has been working very well. I did not think that the light would be useful at first, but it is actually very helpful to spot the dust and dog hair. We even started keeping the ceiling light off when vacuuming to find dog hair better. Highly recommended and will absolutely buy again.

This vacuum head isn’t as strong or smooth as the original Dyson one, but it works fine for daily cleaning. The headlights are a nice touch, and it fits my V10 without issue. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done and is a decent backup if you need a quick replacement.

I recently upgraded to this Dyson floor attachment for my vacuum, and it has truly transformed my cleaning routine. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. It’s not 4 star quality, but 3 seems a bit low. Pros: -Great price! Dyson wants $100 for a new hardwood floor attachment which is insane. $30 is a bargain. -the light is super handy! I didn’t think I’d care about having a light, but it does make it easier to see the dirt and crumbs, esp under tables and along furniture. - does a pretty decent job on small entry rugs. With the Dyson attachment, I’d have to switch to the carpet attachment to do all my entry rugs, so it’s nice that I can keep this on and quickly do the rugs by the doors without having to change anything out. -fits my Dyson V10 perfectly Cons: -suction isn’t great. It can’t suck up anything over the size of a small bean. And sometimes it’ll fling the crumb across the room and you’ll just have crumbs going everywhere. So if you think oh I’ll just sweep up the larger stuff later, it’ll be scattered all over your house. So if you’re getting this to clean up after small children, like I am, it will not suck up all the crumbs your kids leave behind after eating. Nor will it clean up after they’ve been outside in the mulch and there’s bits of mulch all over your floors. However, if you are getting this to clean up after dogs and animals and dirt and pet hair is your main concern, it’ll work perfectly for you, so definitely worth the $30 price tag. I am keeping it, because I just can’t stand the idea of spending $100 for the Dyson attachment. I just try to pick up all the big crumbs before I vacuum. Which is quite annoying with pregnant belly and a 1yr old on your hip…but there are worse things.

I just opened these attachments and tried them out. Awesome! Works perfectly! And I am so happy that there is a brush for carpet and a soft brush for hardwoods, plus a small attachment for furniture. This brought my old V6 Dyson back to life. Such a value for the money. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a very disappointing replacement part for the Dyson V6. The poor design does not allow for adequate vacuuming as the roller does not extend to the front or the sides like the original part. It has trouble with anything larger than cat litter and tips up off the floor when trying to vacuum low under furniture. It also seems very underpowered. I would not recommend this item.

This was purchased to replace our original power head and it WORKS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL! Fast delivery from the US and it arrived in perfect condition. Amazed how easy it glides across the floor and picks up all the dirt. Great price and excellent value for money.

Our original V10 brush broke in half after a year and a half. I didn’t want to spend $200 on a replacement. Amazon came through again! This brush seem quieter and easier to move when vacuuming. The lights are a great touch even though I know they will drain the battery faster. Suction is good. I never had the fluffy/soft brush before and it works great on hardwood floors. I use the harder brush one on carpets but it also works on hardwood too. Hopefully it lasts a while but no complaints, I love it!

I have had this for a while now. I love how easy it is to remove the roller and clean it of all the hair. Love having the lights. Suction seems to be pretty close to the original (but maybe slightly weaker), but still works great. I vacuum fairly heavy handed and run into things, and this thing has proven to be durable. I like how it comes with 2 different brushes, I haven't even used the other one yet. Overall....thumbs up!

I have only had this vacuum attachment for a few days but so far it works well. It was purchased for a Dyson V7 and it fits well and is easy to detach from the vacuum wand. Due to the design of the attachment I was disappointed that it doesn't allow you to lay the vacuum down and maintain contact with the floor to reach far under the bed or other furniture. Luckily I figured out that you just have to rotate handle 90 degrees and then you can lay the vacuum flat to reach under the bed. The light is a nice feature for under furniture or dark corners as it highlights dust/pet hair that could easily be missed. The light appears to shine straight ahead so I feel it would be more effective if it was angled slightly towards the floor. So far I haven't noticed a decrease in my battery run time due to the light using extra battery power however I usually only use my machine for 10-15 minutes and then always put it back in the charger. The extra bristle brush roller was a nice addition. After changing the roller a couple times, it only takes a few seconds to do it so there is no need to purchase a second attachment with a bristle brush. I feel this is good value for the money and much cheaper than buying a replacement from Dyson.

This works way better the the one that came with my v6 Dyson cordless vacuum. I have now replaced everything on this vacuum except the actual motor but the suction with this Dyson vacuum is what I need for all the pet hair in my home so that is why I haven't given it up. I can not live with out this vaccum so that is why I have replaced all the parts but I don't want to pay Dyson price tag for parts and these parts attachments are actually better the first power head I did buy from Dyson and it broke too so this one I took a chance on and love it and feel its better made. Now iv only had it for a few days so will see how it stands up but it is smoother across my floors and way nicer to use.
