Worked great to straighten the fender lips on a 70 Nova I am restoring

useful tool
Just the right tool for those hard to grab flanges. Only complaint is the rubber grips almost immediately loosened up and started to slip off. Some glue from mfg would prevent this.

Look at YouTube videos using door edge pliers
Spent ten minutes using this tool to fix a bent door edge, caused by wind pushing the door open and hitting another vehicle. Auto body shop wanted $1400.00 to repaint door..blend paint into next door and new side decals.

Unique
I avoid body work, but do it some, these looked useful for their intended purpose, plus I just think they'll be handy for other uses. I don't think the price was great..no name on them, probably made the same place most other anonymous tools are. The finish and stiffness of the handles feel OK, the jaws are smooth and parallel. The rubber grips are kind of loose..not bad, but annoying enough to glue. The only worry is the pivot bolt. See picture. It is a 6mm x1 shoulder bolt. That is awfully small. Not only that, but between the threads and the larger diameter shoulder, it necks down to 4.5mm, right where stress is the highest. I don't think that is enough. It may break, and I think it's likely to break if the bolt ever gets a little loose while I'm using them and don't notice it. If it backs out a little, the load on this little area turns from a tensile load to a cantilevered one. Bad! If it breaks, I'll fix/improve it, but that was someone else's job.
