A: No, the brace has no arch cushion.

**Q: Does this have the 2 removeable side strips?**
A: Hi. 
The straps are not removable. They are attached and wrap over and around the foot and ankle (figure 8) pattern.

**Q: Are you able to wear shoes with it on**
A: Yes, but not shoes that are tight to begin with. I wear 7.5 and 8 shoes but I would wear the size 8 with brace. Best wishes.
