They work well. The programming sequence must be executed precisely, so I downloaded it from the website and printed it. Still, it took me a few tries, since I had left the door open when it should have been closed a couple of times. Program only one at a time. The trunk release key got stuck in the down position the first time I used it, so be careful how you press it. They should last, because, according the the sender, battery freshness is checked before they are shipped. They are inexpensive and convenient., and I am happy with my purchase.

As others have mentioned. This does not work on a 1998 Avalon. I go through the sequence and it always ends in 2 lock cycles indicative of failure to connect. Oddly, it would occasionally lock the doors, a couple time it unlocked the door, once i got a trunk pop, even a lock for an unlock button. Maybe the quality control is not good and they just didn't work right. In any event I'd pass on these at least for 1998 Avalon.

I initially ordered 2 of these FOB's and they both worked great for my Toyota Camry. Not long after, my wife lost her set of keys to the Avalon, so I ordered the same FOB's. I programmed them both fine, and the new FOB's worked...for about an hour - then both FOB's stopped working! I took one of the originals for the Camry and reprogrammed it for the Avalon...and it held the programming perfectly fine. So, I have a 50% success rate with these FOB's. It is extremely frustrating when running into problems...but super great when they work as intended. Order them with the understanding it's a coin toss.

Received quickly. Easily programmed. Both work well. But the buttons seem cheap, I suspect they won't last long.l

My wife said it was easy to program. She googled the instructions. The process seemed really silly but it worked. If you do the programming procedure properly it works.. We have been wanting to get these for a while but they have some really bad reviews. We got a used car and the remote didn't work and the key hole on the driver door was broken so we decided to try these. The programming process involved opening and closing the door a number of times while also turning the key in the ignition at certain times. In fact, it was so easy we ordered a set for the other vehicle we have because it only had one remote and it the plastic was breaking. Now, for that car, we have two good remotes and a spare. I am probably going to buy sets for the other vehicles we have.
