I use this to power a Nikon D850. Based on 16 others positive reviews, I decided to buy this. Overall, I'm pleased with performance of the Power Adapter. Prior to buying this my experience was using a non-Nkon power adaptor with a Nikon D70. That adaptor is a KAPAHEN 9 volt, 4.5 amp AC Adapter. So I felt this non-Nikon external PARTSTEC 9v , 6 amp AC/DC power supply should work well. Admittedly, I was concerned of a remote chance a non-Nikon power supply instability could damage the camera. So before beginning, I measured the output voltages of the unit and compared it to the output of the batteries. I'm pleased with the power supply. I use it for time lapses of flowers opening during the day and for changing night skies. Several time lapses ran 7.5 hours which is the maximum time span on the Nikon D850. I expect it will do well with video exceeding 45 minutes, as videos exhaust batteries too quickly.

A great value compared to the original Nikon equipment. The dummy battery included doesn't feel very rugged, so I pack it carefully when traveling, and am careful not to drop it. Considering the cost, I don't mind having to do this. I was able to easily install and use this in my Z6 and D850. One small issue occurred when using with the D750. The cable port on the D750 is located to the side of the battery and the cable channel on the dummy battery took quite a bit of force to push far enough into the channel so that the battery door would close. I wound up using the flat side of a screwdriver blade to help me get it in there. Other than that I'm very happy with the performance so far, and will most likely purchase one or two more for when I have multi-camera shoots.

Bought one for each of my cameras (Nikon D5100 and Nikon D500) and love them. They do exactly what they are supposed to. Great for long time lapse photography or waiting for that perfect shot.

Bought this for a D500 to record a performance. It worked great. Connects together easily and eliminates swapping batteries if you're doing tripod work. Completely eliminates the need to mess with batteries. Much cheaper than Nikon's version. I think it would be bothersome to try and walk around with this plugged in. Even in a studio. However, the adapter does snap in well so it could work if you need it.

I spend a lot of my time on video conferences using my D850 to capture a high quality video feed. Nikon doesn't offer their own plug-in power solution for the D850. After searching extensively, I found this adapter which works perfectly! I can now stream video from my D850 for hours and have also used this for astrophotography sessions in the evening where I would have previously been constrained to the power a single battery could deliver. Great value for the cost and couldn't be happier.
