Excellent top protector. Well worth the money spent.
The first thing I have to note in comparison to other brands I have tried, the box felt like wood before opening it. It's actually really sturdy cardboard. There's practically no chance this will get damaged in American mail unless the postal worker tries to bend it. I'm strong and I doubt I could bend the box if I tried. The top protector went on really easily. I did need to lift it, not because of dirt but because the air pocket formed since the edges adhered faster then the center. Still it's an easy lift and drop. Fits perfectly. I think I saw one really tiny spec of debris under the placed screen but I can't notice it unless I place this unit off under a bright lamp. I find that using light sprays of compressed air help blow off particles if you lower protectors slowly like I do. I went thru 2 of the 4 bottom protectors before I decided to pass. I have placed protectors on DS units for close to a decade now. The bottom protector almost never goes on easily. It has nothing to do with the protector itself, but instead a Nintendo design flaw. The edge around the screen isn't deep enough. It's easy for the protector to be pushed too far in either direction, slight angle, etc. You really don't need to have a protector on the bottom screen though. If you're going for resale value due to condition, everyone expects some marks on the bottom screen. The top is what you're really buying a protector for. Some will argue that the protector is not big enough. You don't want the protector on the bottom portion to be exactly the size of the coverage area, otherwise you can't lift it. You would likely damage the screen trying to poke something pointy in there to lift it. Just don't bother with it. I'll definitely consider this brand for my other devices. This came with a number of extras I can keep for other uses such as extra wet wipes, dry wipes, cardboard bubble pusher, lightly sticky strips for lifting debris.

Take your time when applying these
Very glad to have these. They'll keep my 2DS's screens in great condition. The top screen was easiest for me to apply, so I had no issues there. The circle pad now leaves a mark on the screen due to the added thickness, but it's not an issue at all, just something to be aware of. I had the most difficulty with the bottom screen- I don't know if it was user error or if the screens were faulty, but when peeling the film labeled "Step 2" (the film covering the top of the screen protector), some of them ended up peeling the entire screen protector off. Not only that, but they attracted a lot of dust as I applied them. I used up all four screen protectors before having to contact support for a replacement. Support was very cooperative! They sent me a replacement super quickly and I was finally able get the bottom screen applied correctly. TL;DR make sure you take your time when applying these, especially the bottom screen. They're pretty good screen protectors!

Awesome screen protectors, would highly recommend.
I am VERY impressed with these screen protectors, especially the top one. As you can see, the bottom screen protector fits quite nicely with a very small gap. It's not very noticeable unless you're looking closely, and it feels just as the original screen, which is good. The glass protecotr for the top screen is amazing though. even when looking closely, it is very difficult to notice, and at normal playing distance it is invisible. On the white 2DS XL, any bubbles or dust particles on the white area are also pretty difficult to notice, but you can definitely see them if they're present. The glass is also super thin, so it won't bump into the buttons or anything with the system closed. one word of caution though, the glass protector is extremely difficult to remove. When I appllied mine, i caught a huge dust particle just above the front camera about 1mm from the edge. Even though there was a small air-gap all the way to the edge and I was using a suction cup, i had a very hard time removing the glass. This is because the 2DS screen is plastic, so when you try to lift the glass, the plastic screen flexes and holds onto the glass, whereas a glass screen like on a phone would not flex and just let the glass go. I suspect that the only way to remove the glass would be to break it first. To be fair, it's not the protector's fault, plus a glass protector is likely never going to be scratched since its not a touch screen.

Probably the worst thing I've ever purchased
I wanted to get a screen protector for a new 2ds xl that I bought pre owned as I wanted to obviously protect the thing from scratches. However little did I know that this brand is horrendous. I don't have a crazy amount of experience putting on screen protectors but I can usually do it little to no problem. Firstly I assumed the top screen would be easy to apply. From my experience with glass protectors you can place it on top of the screen and then adjust it for a second or two then apply a bit of pressure to put it on permanently. However the second this protector touches the ds it will immediately stick on and pulling it off feels like you are going to ruin your screen. The first one I messed up because I took too long aligning it and it slipped from my hand which is completely my fault. The second screen However I lined it up perfectly then when I lowered it I was off by less than a millimeter and it was too late as again, it immediately sticks to the screen and attempting to move it a millimeter cracked the corner of the screen on the top right and bottom right side. I now have a top screen that I guess will at least protect the thing but is now cracked and I hope did not damage my screen. The bottom screen I was unable to even put on. Two of them had scratches already on them and the other two had an ungodly amount of bubbles when applying, no matter how clean and spotless the screen is when putting it on, I have never seen so many bubbles on a screen in my entire life. Maybe I got some bad batch but buying literally any other brand can't be worst than this so please buy some other protector.

Great protectors with some barely noticeable flaws (maybe my fault).
I purchased these protectors for my 2DS Xl Pokeball Edition, and they are great protectors with some flaws that may have been due to my own hiccups in applying the protectors. The protector for the top screen is perfect, and in my personal opinion, it is the best job I have ever done in applying a screen protector. There is not a single speck of dust that made its way under, and if there is some that did, I have not noticed in the hours that I have spent gaming since applying the protector. My only complaint about the top protector is that it causes the console to not close as cleanly as I would like. One half of the console is slightly elevated when the console is closed, but honestly, this is not an issue for me. The bottom protector is a slightly different story. I bought these protectors specifically because the bottom protector was not glass, I read about some other protectors that put glass on the bottom screen and this caused people to have to push harder on the touch screen. The bottom protector went on well but a ton of bubbles appeared when I applied the protector, and the kit does come with a tool that I assumed was meant to be used to get rid of these bubbles. The problem with the tool is that it leaves scratches as you work the bubbles out. When the console is on, you cannot notice anything, however, when it is off, you can clearly see how scratched the bottom screen is when you hold it up to the light. These are all cosmetic complaints and I would take them with a grain of salt. If your goal is to protect your console then these protectors will serve that purpose very well. With the issues I have noted, you need to hold the console at a certain angle toward the light in order to see the scratches, and you also need to be looking at the console when it is closed in order to notice such minor details. And I am totally willing to concede that I applied them incorrectly and misused the tools. Overall I would totally recommend these screen protectors. I have been gaming for hours with them on and I am legitimately glad that I did buy them because they do provide great value for the price I paid.

Seems great. Top and bottom are both just fine.
I have no complaints about this at all. The top part is glass, so that should protect the top screen from scratches beautifully, but the bottom is plastic so it won't interfere with touch sensitivity as the glass bottom sets do. Yes the bottom protector is a bit smaller than the actual screen, but all are. This is probably so you can actually get it off without disassembling the entire screen assembly (not for the feint of heart.) A screen protector isn't supposed to be permanent. Both protectors have good clarity and a smooth feel. Actually, the top protector has the usual coatings and etc as you would get for a phone protector, so you can touch it and it won't leave fingerprints and your fingers can glide smoothly, but of course the top screen is not a touchscreen, so this is technically pointless. (Still, I guess that it it resistant to smudges and such is nice.) Technically this means its cost is higher than if it didn't have these properties, but I guarantee they would charge the same even without them, so it may just as well. One thing I'll give them credit for is that too many of these things come with just one protector. This gives you enough that if you screw up on your first try you actually will probably be able to get it after. As always, I do recommend using the age-old trick of running a shower in a bathroom for a while, then letting the air settle before attempting to apply it and it should go without a hitch.

Good Quality and Affordable
These screen protectors fit great. They come with everything you need for a dust-free, perfect installation, and they're very affordable as well. I love my Pikachu Edition Nintendo 2DS XL and want to keep it nice for many years to come. These protectors give me peace of mind. Not to mention, the kit comes with an extra tempered glass protector for the top screen and three additional screen protectors for the bottom screen. I am guessing this is because: 1) Something could go wrong during installation, and/or 2) the screens may scratch or scuff over time from regular use and wear (especially the bottom screen which gets a lot of touch use with fingers and the stylus). I've stored these additional protectors away with my console's original box and will look to them in the future as they may be needed. I've also registered my product online with the manufacturer. It was a very simple and easy process too. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with this product. Great value and a great fit. You can't even tell they exist (see picture). That's what I want out of a good screen protector!
