Herm Sprenger ClicLock Fastener Stainless Steel Buckle for Prong Dog Training Collar & Quick Release with Easy Buckle for Medium Large Dogs (3.0/3.2mm)

This buckle works great for putting the prong collar on/off the dog. I can't imagine having to unlock the links, especially on a large, heavy duty collar. We took the protective cover off to make it easier to use. In cold weather, it was extremely hard to use, and the spring lock is so tight really isn't necessary. Even though somewhat expensive, it makes using the collar so much easier and as we walk our dog several times a day, almost a necessity.

The clasp was a game changer for my puppy’s pinch collar! So much easier to take on and off. It adds some length to the collar, so I had to remove a link, but I can add it later as he grows. The clasp mechanism is easy to depress and glides easily into the fitting.

since prong collar is sized relatively snug on my med hair german shepherd for best placement, this is awesome for easier placement and removal of prong collar, as sliding reg pronged collar over head isn't best due to prongs pressing on big head. prong collar difficult to rotate on med hair dog and this is supposed to be and best placed at front of neck. makes putting on and removing a bit more difficult (vs sliding around closure on reg collar for easier access) but better than pulling over big dog head. has been secure so far. sliding rubber/plastic piece over button helps prevent accidental release. a bit pricey but worth it. Some collars already sold with it but not the one I already had.

Makes putting on and taking off the prong collar easier, quality is very good.

This Herm Sprenger ClicLock Fastener is so nice. And it feels like it won't fall apart if a dog starts to scratch their neck. It makes taking off and on Herm Sprenger prong collar not a chore for either your dog or you. Even though it's an extra cost it's well worth it. Good product to add to your training tools. I had mine painted so it's brighter color than normal.
