Fun, nice-sounding banjo!
Because it's inexpensive, I was worried about the quality of the banjo, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's actually very nice and it sounds terrific. It arrived within four days, which was awesome, and I've already put a couple of hours on it. For a beginner, or someone who just wants to give the banjo a try before investing a lot of money, this is a steal.

banjo it self was good. everything else was mediocre.(EDIT ): the company has resolved the issue.
so far the banjo itself was very beautiful and seems to play nice. the first issue to come up was the 4th banjo string. it seemed to be overtight and when i tried to tune it, it snapped, there was no warning whatsoever. i did ended up using the extra 4 string that came with and did my best to restring it but since im new to this i dont think i did the best job. I will buying higher quality string from somewhere else the next issue is the banjo picks, they are simply too large and difficult to use. the thumb pick is probably the worst. it is solid steel and thick for it purposes and too large. i had to use pliers to bend it into a usable form. I will have to purchase newer picks from a different source. the third issue is the banjo sling as it is small and uncomfortable to wear and the rough fabric scratches the neck. very cheap and will need to be replaced. the fourth issue is the bag is cheap and sort of small for the banjo , the banjo will go in it simply too much a tight fit. i will keep since there no other bags that seemed reasonably priced. the banjo tuner is pretty nice that is a given, although the battery being included would've been nice. overall i wouldn't buy again and i would wish to return for my money but unfortunately this the only option i have to economically afford a banjo as i live in a rural area. EDIT: I was recently in contact with the company, and they have been really receptive and apologetic. for the poor quality of the first banjo. they have graciously sent me a replacement banjo and parts and by inspecting the strings it seems to be perfect order and not one was damaged nor snapped when i tried to tune. i must note that the new banjo sounds even better that the original one! the banjo picks are still awkward to use, however this new pair are more comfortable and more usable than the previous. i will keep them as trusty back up. the carrying bag seems better and the banjo can actually fit. although the banjo sling is still probably the worst part. its simply too rough on the neck but it will do the jobs as intended. all-in-all the folks from ADM really showed some high-quality service which is something i really value. I wouldn't mind doing more shopping with them in the future.

Good cheap banjo
Not a bad little banjo for the money. If you've got bigger hands its a little tough as its small feeling. For the price its a good way to start and see if its something you would want to pursue further.

Love the look of the brown wood. So clean and nice looking
Bought this for my husband. He has wanted one for so long. Finally got him one for Christmas. He loves this banjo and has already tought himself the scales. He has all the tools he needs for this and for a beginner starting out it is a complete set. My husband is very musical and has played many various musical instruments over the years. I think he is excited about this and will be jaming out here soon enough.

Very good quality
The instrument arrived in a perfect shape. It has a very good value for money. I think it really gives the blue grass vibes with good quality. Everything in the product description, but instead of a thumb pick I received a third index pick. I contacted them however and they were very responsive and fixed the issue right away. Good Job!

Great beginner instrument - durable
Five years in and this banjo is still going strong! Honestly, I bought it because it was cheap and I was new to banjo. I have practiced with it every day for 5 years and it still holds up. The only thing I've changed are the strings. I would definitely recommend for someone who wants to learn banjo but doesn't want to spend a fortune.

Sturdy and durable
I bought this as a Christmas gift, it comes super complete and the sound quality is great, super good for first time players, the instrument feels sturdy and the cords seem to have the right tension need it. If you are looking for a start full set this is definitely good quality and we didn’t have any issues with it in over 2 years

I like the banjo set what a deal.
I was surprised to see that the front of my banjo is like a drum that you play I didn't particularly care for it I fill that it maybe should be made differently than that and I would have liked it more if the wood grain would have been a little lighter than what I see and some of it I half to install myself and I fill that it should have already been done since I don't know what I'm doing I'm new to the banjo world but other than that I like it fine , I'm just saying, and it did come with extra things i got a nice black bag i like that fine and it,s fancy to with straps a handle and all i got picks for my fingers extra strings and a brigge and a cloth for keeping it clean a balancing tool to keep it in tune and a few other things that i do appreciate and I got all this for a rill good price that other wise I would have had to buy it and it would have been a separate purchase and more money but with this set for one small price i got everything that has now put my pocket book to rest and my mind so I just want to say thanks and shipping was fast even though the box that it was in was torn up and it had been taped up but who ever did that absolutely done a tacky job but after inspecting the contents in side I seen that everythings fine so any ways thanks a bunch . MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! AND HAPPY NEW Years! ok....ok {thank you }. © ™.

I am very happy with this product. The banjo itself is beautifully made. Its simple but still really nice. The added items are not cheap like you'd expect. The bag is well made, the tunner is simple and effective. The one thing that is a negative, the picks are small. It might just be my fingers but they are very tight and prolonged use they cut off circulation. All in all this is a great product, well worth the purchase. Note I have no idea why such a massive box was sent with it.

My first banjo came in good condition. Shipping came fast considering it travelled half way through the country. (About four days with express) Heads up if you're done tuning the banjo, take out the battery from the tuning device. Sometimes it’ll automatically turn on with loud music nearby. I would like to recommend youtuber Markwardle to help teach blue grass music.

Beautiful looking, affordable banjo. Great to get started on (as I'm doing), though i have noticed the 1st and 2nd strings are near impossible to fret up near the nut. I'm unsure if this is due to my fretting fingers being a little weak or if its a resonator/tensioner thing, but it leads to a buzzing, almost sitar-like sound on the upper frets of those strings. Makes cords sound really odd, but i don't think it's a "deal breaker", especially for beginners. If you want perfect, professional sound, you gotta buy a better banjo anyways. This is great for learning on without spending an obscene amount of money. The finger picks are pretty small, btw. I'm a larger dude, but i don't think my fingers are all that fat and these cut off circulation in my fingertips. Simple solution was buy a bigger set of picks. As another review stated, the strap isn't great but it does the job. Everything comes back to getting what you're paying for. Its 5 strings on a resonator, so you can learn to play the instrument. If you really like it, buy a better one down the road.

It had some screws loose. But they sent the tools to tight them up

This banjo arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Very handy to have the tuner, picks etc included - my teen could start playing right away. He’s very happy with both the look and sound of the instrument
