Bought this for my grandson’s first birthday and he instantly loved it! At first, he could only pull the joystick back so he only went in reverse, but he still laughed and had fun! Now, he’s 16 months old and has become a daredevil with it! He can easily control the direction he wants to go and will try to stand on the back to ride it. Lol! He only uses it in the house and bumps into the walls and furniture without leaving marks on the wall or hurting anything. Lights, wheels, joystick, and battery still work great! His parents say it’s the best gift ever!!!

My son has struggled to learn how to steer anything, especially if it has a wheel, whereas this little bumper car has two joysticks, I figured that if he couldn’t figure this out, we were without hope he would ever be able to drive anything. But we got this for him for Christmas, we cleared the floors of our home, and after a little bit of encouragement, he finally got the idea. It took him a few minutes of putting his hand out in me having to try to coach him to just use the joysticks, and I told him stop putting his arm out against the wall and pushing against the wall, now he realizes that he can drive this thing without pushing off of the wall, this thing has really gotten through to him. He understands how to drive something for the first time in his life. He’s six years old and he has autism. I would recommend this for anyone with a child that has autism. I think this is a deeply therapeutic and educational toy. Everything about it was sensational for him. He has so much more confidence about riding his bike or anything with a steering wheel now I wouldn’t recommend a remote control, because anything that he has gotten in in the past that has a remote control he jumps out of when we try to control it remotely. I cannot think the developers of this product enough it’s not easy raising a child with autism, but he did it. I taught him how to go forward stop, go backwards stop, spin all the way around 360° and how to spit all the way around the other direction 360°. It’s been amazing. This is this was the best Santa Claus gift not just for my son but for me and my spouse. I’m probably gonna get him an all-terrain vehicle with these controls in it one day.

Flybar 6V Blue Bumper Car were a great Christmas gift for my son. It's a little noisy, seat belts for safety and a spot to place your legs and feet, speed is fine for my 3 year old, battery life kind of go down quick, it's worth the value of it, and it functions very well. He loves it

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday, first thing we noticed is that it was the wrong color but once we opened it and plugged it in, it wasnt charging properly (wouldn’t recognize the charger) once we got it fully charged we took it to our daughters birthday party and she got strapped in and it took off and wouldn’t stop! finally it shut down and when we got her out to look at it, the motor turned on again and wouldn’t shut off, even without pushing any buttons. It got SO HOT and melted the plastic on the seat and started smoking everywhere. Thank god my daughter wasn’t in it!! Huge hazard, I will never ever buy anything like this for her again. We threw it in the dumpster behind the place we rented for her party because I was scared to have it in my car with my kids. DO NOT BUY.
