Pretty good for the price
Installation: It took me 3.5 - 4 hrs to install, but this would vary depending on your vehicle and how nice of an installation you want. For perspective, I installed it on an 06 Honda Accord Coupe. Installation is pretty straightforward and easy. The instructions manual is clear too. You can't go wrong by following it. I decided hard wire to my reverse light because I want to keep my 12V outlet available to charge my phone. However, this is not a deal breaker if you want to use the outlet. Some things to note. You will have to drill a hole behind your license plate to feed the camera cable through. Simply use a drill bit that big enough for the cable. I wanted a nicer installation, so I fed the wires through the backseats and ran it through the C Pillar then along the weather stripping of my side doors and lastly through the A pillar and tucked the last remaining cables up the headliner. On this note, you'd want to begin from the front of the vehicle and work your way back to avoid having extra cable slack hanging out. This way, you can hide all the extra slack in the truck and neatly zip tie it together. After installing, I noticed that the video was clear when the vehicle was in the on position. However, when I started the vehicle, I noticed some static lines on the video. This is due to some vehicles not having enough voltage or interference with the signal. Not a problem! Simply contact the Amtifo and they will send you a relay which is a simple plug and play. Having some tools makes the job easier. First, I recommend having some panel removal tools. Second, I recommend having a crimper with a wire stripper. The power wire length is short out of the box so stripping some of the wire makes it easier to splice with the reverse wire using the provided t taps. Lastly, the length of the wire is enough for this vehicle. No extension cable needed. Experience: The video quality is decent for the price. My only wish is for the view to be wider. However, I am pleased with it so far. It works and I can see well enough with it. Customer service is top notch as well. If you ever need help, it's only an email away.

A good Back Up Camera and Mirro Combo
This is the 3rd backup camera that I've installed and this install went very smoothly. This was installed on a Honda CRV and the product was easy to install and there was plenty of wire to connect the camera to the rear view mirror. I WOULD recommend this product.

Tutorial video showed how to attach wires together and nothing else.
Instructions to install via video were terrible. Video only showed how to hook cables together. There were not written instructions. There are two was to install. I would recommend watching entire video before installing. Installation is not self explanatory. Does not tell you how to run cables from camera on license plate, to monitor on rear view mirror. Clips/brackets to hold the cable in place are not provided. I have an SUV and ended up running it along the floor. Used the power source in trunk instead of cigarette litter. Not sure how long the cable that runs from camera is going to last. The cable hangs when I open trunk. Have to tuck cable back in as I close the trunk. The camera itself works fine.

Poor quality. Terrible refund/replacement policy
Sat in a box for a couple months and then the Camera stopped working 2 weeks after install. Only has a 1 month refund policy. So thats just wasted money.

The most difficut work is to drill a hole.
The product works as described. The most difficult part for me is to make a right size hole behind the license plate. What I did is using my driller to make a small hole and then use different size screws to gradually enlarge the hole until the hole is large enough to let the camera connector go through it. You might need to break some retainers to reach the back light to connect the power, so you may also need to get some plastic Rivet fasteners to restore what you braked back to its original condition. Pros: 1. All wires have good length for my 2001 Camry. I bought a different one for my 2008 Accord, the camera wire does not have enough length (need to route to the trunk hinge to reach the back light). 2. Adjustable back warning guide line. Need improvement: 1. The mirror shows both rear view and camera views at the same spot. Make it not that clear during the day time because of glare. 2. The mirror is tinted with light blue color. May be good during the day time. But is bad at night.

Works great! Comes with everything
Very cool product. We installed it using the reverse lights in my daughters CR-V and it worked perfectly. Took me about an hour to route the wires properly. You get everything you need in the kit for a good price.

Decent but resolution could be better
Finally got around to installing this in a Honda S2000. To keep this review short, it's a decent reverse camera for the price but the picture quality/resolution could be a lot better. I haven't tested it in the night yet but if the quality in the day time isn't terrific then I don't expect the night quality to be great either. For the price though, it's decent. If I had to do it again, I'd probably spend a bit more for a higher quality reverse camera. INSTALL Just tossing a few installation tips since the instructions aren't really that great. Honestly the install was fairly easy if you're somewhat experienced with electrical connections. You will need to find a way to fish the wire from the backend of the car to the frontend of the car. Many online forums should be able to assist with. For S2000 owners, there's a thread on S2ki. Look up DIY - backup camera s2ki on google. In my opinion, DO NOT USE the T-tap connectors provided. They are garbage and won't splice through the wire enough even if you use all your strength lol. I used the T-taps at first and the camera wouldn't turn on at all. I then removed the T-taps and saw that the T-tap didn't splice through to make contact. Anyways, I did it the old fashioned way and spliced the wires of my reverse light (driver side) and then wrapped the wires of the reverse camera around it and then used electrical tape to seal the connections and it worked like a charm. I connected the red wire from the camera to the positive wire of my reverse light (which was a green wire) and the black wire from the camera (aka the ground wire) to the negative wire of my reverse light (which was a black wire). Hope that helps anyone having issues installing this.

It is the tidiest way to retrofit my 2007 Odyssey with a backup camera.
The package came real quick, within 24 hrs. I didn’t bother looking at the manual as it was self explanatory. First thing that I did was assess how to route the wires on my Odyssey. Routing the wires from the rear view mirror right up the left side was a cinch, the hard part was removing the rear inside panels of the van. I had to unbolt them seat belt from the floor. The wires for the pig tail that connects to the reverse light was indeed thin. It is best to solder. One thing to ensure you piggy back off the correct wires. Verify the right light is the correct one that you’ll piggy back off cause you can get easily confused as the parking light has red black, but for the van’s reverse wires are coloured green and black. A little verification before cutting will save you the headache. I had to drill a hole behind the license plate for the camera wires to fish through. I plugged the hole with an electrical putty + sprayed it with a rubberized undercoating spray to prevent water intrusion. The tiny on the mirror is bluish, so makes the view a little dimmer. There is a good 2s delay when you engage into reverse. The night vision is coloured and very bright. The only thing that I would ask is a longer pig tail as mine wasn’t long enough to route it the way I want it to go. Maybe the seller can send me one? Otherwise it is a good, affordable setup.

Good Value
Overall this was a pretty easy install and the product works. Camera image is quite dim during the day and you have to move the mirror to view clear camera view. Still good for the cost.

best reverse camera I've ever had
The mirror is large which is very good. things look very clear in him. It does not require paying a workshop To install it, it is really easy to do it by yourself, it does not take more than an hour. In addition, the camera withstands the extreme weather of Canada. I had already had two winters with the camera and the snow has not damaged it.
