Bought this set in December and they are still sharp, no rust, and looks very nice. Worth the money

Item was returned unopened, no longer needed it for a present. The manufacturers packaging was very high quality, and the item was shipped securely wrapped. I bought this at an extremely low price. It is hard to rate it since I never opened the package to test the knives.

For the price, absolutely much better than I was expecting. I have small hands, left handed so the handle is comfortable ambidextrous and the weight is pretty on point. (For you right handers out there, knives like shun are meant just for you so this is a thing) Very sharp, impressed.

We've been looking for a new set of chef knives for quite a while. While we didn't have a lot of money to spend quality is important to us. We've had this set a few days and they are really very good set. It's wonderful to have new knives again. We read about them when they were recommended by Food and Wine Magazine so we thought we would try them. So far so good.

My son is a chef and loves these, they are so sharp it cut his knife bag putting them away and he barely touched it!!

I love these! I have this and the steak knife set, and bought these for my son. They look great, and feel great in your hand. They are very sharp! The rule in my house is that no one can toss them in the sink because reaching in to soapy water and grabbing one can lead to a nasty slice. They really are beautiful knives that work well.
