Best seal ... ever!
These containers are great! Best air tight seal ever. Only 3 stars for not so "easy to remove". But, BUT that is ultimately the reason for my 5 stars overall -- because the seal is soooo very, VERY air tight ("vapor lock") --- paint keeps 'forever'. Started using these 3 years ago and paint is still "fresh". These are the ONLY containers we buy. Buh bye ol' rusty paint cans.

Great for storing paint. Anything that needs to be in a sealed container.
This is my second purchase. I have stored latex paint in these for over 7 years. I open them frequently for touch up. Paint is always like new. Also used them for joint compound and storing some things for gardening.Lids open easy, seal well. I transfer paint from partial gallons as it works better for storage and occasional use.

nice cans
well made . seems like the lids have a good tight fit. will wait to see how well they preserve the paint I have stored in them.

Great for paint!
Got tired of keeping mostly empty gallons of leftover paints (saving for touch ups). These containers are perfect and allow for easy labeling with a sharpie. Not too easy to open, but that is perfectly fine for my purpose.

Check your sizes. Lid locks Tight!
Worked perfect for a project I didn’t know I was making until they came in! READ THE SIZES! I thought these were 5 Gallon buckets.Nice thick quality. Lid locks very tight. Hard to get off if fully put on.

Seal well
One of mine had a hole! I thought I was spilling, but noticed paint leaking from the bottom of the can. But for a few dollars per container, not so bad. They seam to seal very tightly, which is great for long-term storage. You don't want any moisture evaporating from the paint. Also, I found that taking a utility blade/knife and removing a couple inches from the can lip will greatly improve removal of the lid. I learned this from a can of sheet rock filler that also sealed very tightly. Just be careful when using the blade so you do not cut through the wall of the container. The plastic is tough HDPE, so you will need to be forceful when cutting/trimming.

Much better than metal version.
These don’t rust like the metal paint can versions. Lids seal nicely. White color makes labeling very easy.

Absolutely do the job
I wanted to store leftover paint, in smaller containers, that would be clean and rust-free and protect the contents from light. I like these better than reusing old spaghetti jars or whatever -- I trust them not to be soapy or have any residue that will alter the paint. They are stackable and this size is convenient for me. The lids are difficult to open by hand, but okay with a "pail opener" or "paint key".
