Sea to Summit

These bags held up very well to 28 hiking days. We each used two and plan to each buy a third to further break apart our clothing for organization purposes.They were dried on high in a commercial dryer and came out fine.

Got this one for a windbreaker that I got tired of stuffing in a waist pack or camera bag. For a typical windbreaker, it is a bit larger than necessary (wish there was a 1.5 liter size), but it works well with a North Face primaloft jacket. It definitely freed up a lot of space in my portable baggage. Other brands seemed to be heavier material, typically a bit larger and closed shut on the bottom rather than a rounded bottom. So far it also seems durable. No worries about it bursting. Double stitching and a cord lock. This one fit my needs fine and is very light and not noticeable, about the size of a digital wide to telephoto lens when full.

I cannot say enough good things about this bag. I bought it in January 2015 (a year and a half ago) and have been using it as my gym laundry bag every day I go the gym (let's call that ... 3x a week). I jam my nasty stinky damp gym clothes into this bag, then leave the bag in my alternating blazing-hot/freezing-cold car all day at work, then come home, dump the stinky clothes out, and load fresh clothes into it for the next day. I have never washed this bag. It does not smell, and it has never leaked gym-clothing-smell onto my next-day-clothes. It does not let smell leak out -- my car hasn't suffered from gym-clothing odor since I got this bag.The large is maybe a bit excessive size-wise for dirty gym clothes, but considering how lightweight the bag is and how little space the extra bag fabric takes up, why not get a larger one? The large would work well as a laundry bag for a weekend trip, but you might want a bigger size as a laundry bag for a longer trip. Also, the gold color is fantastic. I'm always paranoid that I'm going to forget my clean clothes at home, and seeing the bright gold blazing out of the depths of my gym bag is very reassuring.------Also, because the way they've listed the sizes is awful and bears very little resemblance to the drop-down of size options, here's my best guess at corresponding the volume/dimensions with the listed sizes. Sea to SUmmit makes great items and this Ultra-Sil Stuff Sack is no different. This is the 3rd one I have purchased within the past year. I use them for backpacking and organizing some of my items that might get wet or those I want to keep dry. Currently the XXS green one is used to store my hammock winter cover and works perfectly. The ultrasil does a great job keeping items dry. I have used the sea to summit pack cover with the same material and my pack was completely dry except where it was exposed to the elements.Overview:Pros:-Lightweight, not as light as cuben fiber though (however they are a lot cheaper than cuben fiber)-Waterproof-Keeps odors from escaping (I use it as a bear bag and you can't smell any of the food when it is closed up-DurableCons:- Somewhat expensive-No event system to let trapped air out however this is true for most regular stuff sacks and just requires skill in packing/closingOverall: I would recommend this stuff sack to anyone who wants to keep their items dry, or is looking for a good way to keep items organized.

Handy item, good For storage of jackets.

Feels really durable and holds a good amount of stuff (I have the 2.5L size). I'm using it to transport rain gear in a pannier for biking and it fits my Marmot Pre-Cip rain jacket, Helly Hansen ran pants, and waterproof shoe covers. It's a bit of a tight squeeze to get that all in, but the pack closes completely.One word of warning 2X-Small means "extra-extra small". You will not get 2 extra small stuff sacks as I had initially hoped. I'm quite happy with the one, but feel like $11 is a little on the pricey side.

Needed a sack to hold my rain jacket while traveling, although it looks like we won't be traveling any time soon. This is the perfect size for my jacket. I can easily fit this bag inside my luggage or day pack. Exactly what I was looking for. Well made, nice quality.

Great brand, they make great products. This is the perfect size to stuff my rain jacket and pants in, bright color is easy to see in the bottom of my backpack.
