How do you separate the keytops without it breaking?

There's not an easy way to this. I wiggle neighbor keys gently from top to bottom (surface to under surface) until they break apart. I've never had one break the actual keytop. If it is stubborn, I get a very sharp boxcutter and gently score the in-between area - it seems to do the trick. It takes time but it can be done.

Missing the B keytop

One B keytop was not in the package.

Cheap plastic

Keys are made of cheap plastic and are all stuck together. Very difficult to pull apart without breaking. Edges are rough and must be sanded before installation as replacement keys. The item was returned for a full refund.
