No, if anything, they run large, they are hand wash or gentle, hang to dry and iron when dry, people are washing and DRYING these shirts, i just purchased a large, im 5'10, 175lbs, i just orfered theedium and will go from there, either the large or medium or both may be sent back. If you launder them like other clothes, they shrink..

Does the plaid match at the side seams?

Not sure how each shirt will match up at the seems but all of mine do and I have 7 of them. That negative comment isn't true in my case at all. These shirts are heavy duty and made with quality in mind. And I wear a 2x in t shirts, ordered 3x in these and could have stayed with 2x. The size chart is accurate, oversized compared to most other brands. These are very nice flannels and worth the price, to day the least

Bought for the hubby for our Christmas photo's. He is 6'1. I bought the large for a more fitted look. Little tight in shoulder area but over looked really good. Will look super cute in our Christmas pictures. The quality seems ok. Very thin flannel.
