Perfect warmer 😋
I love my hot logic! It fits in my bag with no issues, easy to travel with. It’s not super thick and that’s what I love. The hot plate does its magic. It’s easy to use, put your food in a microwave safe container, covered and all! Warms my food up without having to wait my turn at the microwave 😂 (work issues). I’ve told people at work to upgrade their lunch and get one 😂 the food comes out HOTTTTT! Don’t have to worry about the middle being cold or anything. The zipper keeps it sealed and all the heat stays in. I included some pictures of my lunch today.

HAPPY SIXTH ANNIVERSARY! Last purchased May 22, 2018
I decided to write this review because I just took out yet another perfectly heated lunch and realized how much I loved this product and never shared a review. It was sheer coincidence that it's the sixth anniversary of buying this product. With out a doubt, HotLogic is one of our most RELIABLE and often used products we've EVER purchased on Amazon, this little miracle does what it does simply and perfectly, all the time, every time! I almost always bring leftovers with me to work, and the first thing I do when I get to my desk is plug in my HotLogic and zip my plastic lunch container inside. By the time lunch time rolls around I have a perfectly heated meal waiting for me! Yum! I have the mini and fell in love with it so much that I bought my wife the larger one with the included glass container. One thing that bears mentioning that often gets overlooked, is the fact that this works so much better than a microwave! Because this heats with gently from the bottom, your food will heat more evenly and still taste the way you intended it to be; delicious, hot, moist, and uniformly heated. I hated waiting in line at work to share the one messy, smelly microwave, and then have to walk back with my hot food to my office. Also, if you get an inexpensive AC adapter for your vehicle's lighter port, you can have HotLogic heating your meal as you drive. It's great for long car trips, camping, or even the drive-in!

Hot, Fresh Meals Anywhere, Anytime
I'm absolutely delighted to share my thoughts on this plug-in lunch warmer, which has turned out to be a game-changer in my day-to-day life. If you've ever wished for a hot meal in the middle of your workday, despite not having access to a microwave, this is the product for you! As a construction worker, I often found myself craving a hot lunch but had no convenient way to heat my food. That was until I came across this innovative lunch warmer. It's now an essential part of my daily routine, and I can't imagine my workdays without it. The design of this lunch warmer is both thoughtful and effective. The hot plate at the bottom efficiently heats the food, while the insulated fabric casing maintains the temperature, ensuring that your food stays hot for longer. The heating process takes about 45-60 minutes, which works perfectly with my schedule. I plug it in, get back to work, and before I know it, it's lunchtime, and I have a warm, delicious meal waiting for me. A standout feature is its standard plug compatibility. My truck has one, and it's incredibly convenient to simply plug it in and let the warmer do its magic while I focus on my work. The fact that I can heat my meals wherever I am, without the need for a traditional power source, is truly revolutionary. What impresses me the most is the quality and efficiency of the hot plate. It heats food evenly and thoroughly, ensuring no cold spots - a common issue with some other portable heating solutions. It doesn't just heat your food; it brings it back to life, making it taste as good as when it was first cooked.

Best purchase to save me money and eat healthy!!
*****************************************update 11/14/2016****************************************************** This unit still works great!! I have purchased a second unit! I will tell you frozen dinners taste so much better from the mini oven than the micro wave! They come out smoother and better tasting... This product continues to heat my food and makes for a better day for me while I am at work. *****************************************original review below********************************************************************************************** This is working out so great!! I take this to work with me and to workshops!!! No more using nasty community microwaves or standing in line for the microwave!! I love this item!! Saves me money and keeps me away from the nasty microwave and nasty cafeteria! I was so tired of the long lines and attitudes at the community work microwave!!! I was tired of the nasty cafeteria food and wanted a way to heat my food instead of always taking sandwiches as an alternative! I saw this mini portable oven when it was around $39.00. Which has already paid for itself at first I thought the price was too high. The straw that broke me down was when I was in a workshop and the one micro wave that was there went out after a person had used it and left me having to eat cold food!!! I said never again, as soon as I made it home I ordered this and the on the go cereal bowl and salad unit! Working for someone else is hard as it is!!! So I said never again will I be in a position that I have to eat cold food or use a nasty micro wave that is unhealthy!!! Or pay for nasty food, that may not have even been prepared correctly! So far this unit has paid for its self, I have ate chicken, and rice, spaghetti, soups, sausage green bean potatoes, and many more! I cook in my bigger crock pots so dinner is done when I arrive home, so I take a portion of that meal and place it in the glass Pyrex ware for my lunch for the next day and what a pleasant treat for me knowing I have healthy food warming and in a clean unit!!! Someone told me that it smelled good in my work space I just said thanks because I did not want them running and telling, you know how some people can mess things up for others. (Yes, that is the type of work environment I currently have) So this unit makes my day pleasant knowing I have a great lunch waiting for me!!! I am so happy with this unit that I plan to purchase an adapter for our suv so that if I need to heat food up in the suv I can if I am out in workshops and there are no plugs etc (things do happen). I highly recommend this unit! For me it blesses my day because it gives me more time to also read my bible during my lunch instead of waiting in line to purchase food or heat my food. I make sure I always have something to heat in my portable oven even if it is just a can of soup! I refuse to go back to the micro wave or cafeteria! I don't have to stand in line any or more or watch the attitudes of people waiting for the microwave or using the microwave. I am grateful, for my current environment, just speaking on how much of a blessing this unit has been for me! Peace of mind!!!! Gives me more time to also eat the word for lunch!!

Great product, though wish the power cable was swappable
This does a great job of heating up prepared frozen or refrigerated meals. I have used fresh Factor prepared meals as well as frozen meals from Clean Eatz. The size of the bag easily accommodates either, and I suspect most frozen meals from the grocery store would work as well (with the possible exception of Hungry Man and other larger portions). I place the meal in the bag, take it to work, set it on my desk, and plug it into the wall. By lunchtime, I have a nice hot meal to enjoy! It seems to me that the quality of the meals is better when warmed this way compared to using a microwave. Chicken nuggets don't get as chewy, and vegetables retain more of their crispness. It does take an hour or two to get especially the frozen meals up to temp, which is not in itself a big issue. I can plan around that usually, but I am holding back a 5-star rating because HotLogic doesn't offer a swappable power cable. Many of their competitors have a separate power cable that plugs into the heating element. This allows the same heating element to be powered by either a vehicle or a wall outlet. HotLogic's offers two models: one with a built-in car charging cord and another with a built-in wall charging cord. That is not ideal. Sometimes, I have to travel most of the morning to get to a remote office. By the time I get there, it is almost lunch time. Having a swappable power cable would allow me to start the heating process in the car, then finish the process (or hold at temp) once I get to the remote office. Brining two different bags or pulling out the heating element and putting in a different one to switch from car to wall power does not do the trick. Also, having a removable power cable would allow for easier cleaning of the heating element. I have checked with the manufacturer, and it seems that none of their products have a swappable power cord. Call it an engineering oversight. Apart from that oversight, though, this is a great product!

If you take leftovers to work, you need this.
Let me start off by saying that I use this with a container that fits perfectly inside. The description for this container on amazon is: Pyrex Storage 6-Cup Rectangular Dish with Dark Blue Plastic Cover. It took me a while to figure out exactly what container to use so I want to save people some time. This container costs $6.55 on amazon at the time of my purchase. Don't waste your money on the one with the ventilated lid, that's only useful for microwaving and costs more than double. This oven will not pressurize the inside of your container. Microwaves are horrible about that because they heat the water very aggressively so that some of it is boiling even when your food is cold in the middle. I plug this thing in when I get to work at 8:30am and when I eat lunch sometime after 11:00am the food is perfect. I was concerned at first that this might overcook my food leaving it in there so long but it does not. Today I had leftover steak, It was the ultimate test because it was one of the best I have ever cooked and the microwave I was using before always ruined steak. It was outstanding. You can leave your food in this thing for a long time and it will be fine. If you are a few hours late to lunch no big deal, it will still be better than microwaving. The secret is that it cooks your food in a sealed container with very good temperature control, trapping the moisture and odor inside. Since it cooks gently and from the bottom you do not need to worry about your plastic lid. The lid just doesn't get that hot. I have access to a microwave at work and I never have to wait for it, that being said, I will never use it again. Frozen meals are excellent in this unit as well, the difference between this and a microwave is even more obvious with frozen food. In case anyone is curious about it, I did some research and found that the power consumption for the HotLogic Mini is 45 watts. That's 0.375 amps at 120 volts. Taking into account the efficiency loss of using an inverter, you could run 4 of these off of a standard 20 amp 12 Volt socket in a car. I have never tested this but the math works out. Update: It's been a while and both of my units are still working perfectly. I have been using the one I keep at work every day and I will never go back to microwaving. Since my food is so much better now, I bring my lunch much more consistently and the savings are adding up. When my lunch break starts I get to sit down and start eating right away, It blows my mind that my co workers can see how good this thing is and yet they still use the microwave to destroy their food. I paid $30 each for mine and it's possible the best money I've ever spent.

Bluetti EB3A technical specs
After 27 years, I've decided to try camping again. I have to gear up, but I'm not ready to spring for a stove. I'm not thrilled with the idea of buying and storing propane. The small tanks most camp stoves use are more than I'm willing to pay for or deal with. Will an electric lunchbox do the trick? I hope so...at least for a weekend excursion now and then. I have two Bluetti EB3A batteries. Each stores 268 watt hours when 100% charged. I have a solar panel, but what if it's cloudy the entire weekend? So I'm trying to figure out if I can comfortably camp an entire weekend on two batteries if I don't charge them. Yes, I could charge them with my car, but I'm there to hike...not drive so I don't drain the car battery while charging the Bluettis. With that in mind, I did a rough test to see what I can do with this electric lunchbox. I thought I'd share my results so others have a general idea of whether this could work for them. Keep in mind that this is a really rough test, and there are so many variables that my results may not match yours if you did something similar. I had 1 cup of homemade stew in an Oxo Good Grips 1.6 cup glass storage container. The stew was about an inch deep and had thawed in the refrigerator overnight. It was fully thawed when I heated it in the lunchbox the next morning. During the test, the lunchbox consistently drew 43 watts from my battery. My battery holds 268 watt hours. At 25 minutes, it had used 11% of my battery, and the stew felt room temperature when I ate a bite. At 35 minutes, it had used 16% of my battery, and the stew felt warm when I ate a bite. At 45 minutes, it had used 20% of my battery, and the stew felt hot when I ate a bite. Not piping hot, have to blow on it hot. Just pleasantly hot. At this point I stopped, because I wouldn't waste my battery making something so hot it had to cool before I could eat it. Note that the lunchbox instructions say that spreading more thinly in a larger container will heat faster, because more of the container will be in contact with the hot plate. My container only took up half the lunchbox. However, I bought a three cup Pyrex rectangular container that would cover the entire heat pad in the lunchbox. So I think if I transfer the stew to that for heating, it will use less battery power. I'm not going to bother with that test for now, as I prefer to leave myself a wide margin of error with my estimation on whether I can camp a full weekend with two batteries without charging. That said, I don't think it will cut power consumption in half, because you have to figure that there is more glass to heat in a larger container. Maybe it will save me a third, however, which is worthwhile if you're faced with a cloudy weekend and no solar charging, so you're trying to conserve energy. If I really like this lunchbox for camping and I start going a lot, I think I'll also look for a metal container. Heck, maybe I'll even do that now. Metal cooking containers are thinner and conduct heat faster, so it should use a lot less energy than the glass containers. That might work better for my purposes. I think if I were driving around all day, though, and powering off of the car, a glass container would be my preference. I like glass for storage, so in that scenario, it would nice to store meal-sized portions in glass and then pop that into the lunchbox. I hope this helps someone! Happy camping. :-)

Grade A Game Changer!!!
I rarely right reviews on Amazon, but this product has literally changed my LIFE. First off, this product is so simple to use, you literally just plug it in with your food (I used a frozen meal for example) and it works its magic! I knew it would take ~2 hours to fully heat my frozen meal, so I plugged it in at work ~9am. I ended up forgetting about it until 2:30pm and my food was still hot and tasted better than it ever did in the microwave!! I literally held my Hotlogic up to my coworker and told her how much I love this product then also turned to the product itself and told it, "I love you." I will no longer be doing my body the disservice of using a microwave. This product is a straight up GAME CHANGER.
