One day later and its a vast improvement.
After just 1 day, I see an major improvement. Our dogs are very important companions to us. I was almost hesitant to purchase the product, but after reading several reviews here and looking at the mfgs. website. I decided to give it a try. I usually want more feedback before trying a product on my beloved dogs. I am glad, that I decided to forge ahead and be the one to give feedback for everyone else. The wife and I have multiple huskies whom we share our life with. I certainly love the price point. It works just as good as other name brands. I say other name brands as this product will certainly be a name brand, and it is one we now trust. My huskies tolerated this product very well, and showed no signs of any reaction at all. Well except for a major reduction in fleas. After 24 hours, I checked our dogs and I couldn't see any visible movement. I know its not a 100% product on the first go and it will take few applications to completely stop the cycle. With further applications for preventive too. That price sure makes it easy to provide those. I/we literally cut our monthly medication bill in 1/2. So we will 100% be purchasing this product again. Being basically a rescue, (our vet classifies us as one) due to taking in multiple huskies over the years. We have tried to be frugal with some things but food and flea medicine are things we don't cut corners on. I would recommend this to any rescue groups out there whom may have tight budget constraints. We know the more you can control costs the more you can help other animals. Being as how passionate we are about our pups, I will be sure to update this review as needed. ** edit: I wanted to notate we have used this on dogs as young as ~1 year, to senior dogs 13+ years of age. All have faired well and tolerated the medication well. Its now October 2017, and we are well outside our normal flea flare up season. The pups are doing well, the medication continues to be a vital part of our medication regimen. I saw no ill affects at any time in its use across as many as 13 huskies. Yes we have 13 huskies as pets. They are all rescues and not used for breeding purposes. Actually all are fixed. Edit 2: Its now December 2017 and we are still continuing to purchase Activate II, everything is still going well for our huskies. **** I will continue to suggest this as an alternative to some of the other higher priced medications. Having said that all users should be on the look out for adverse reactions when any medication is given. I would recommend placing an animal poison control number in your phone. Remember that pets are just like us, I may react differently to a medication, that you can easily tolerate. The same goes for the pets. The vast majority of the population may likely see no ill effects, but you have to be prepared if they are in the minority group and cannot tolerate a medication.

Great product.
Switched from frontline to this because it was no longer working. Pretty much immediate difference. Almost all the fleas were gone, and my dog was no longer scratching. I did give her a bath a little over a week after applying and it seemed to get rid of the rest of the fleas. Decent price, not the greatest but definitely worth it. She didnโt have any hair loss or any other negative side effects.

Worked well, no weird smell, no greasy fur.

Made in US, equal to leading product in effectiveness.
Made us USA, same as Advantix II, half cost. Oder is stronger but once dried, brushed in, not as oily to touch as Advantix II. Have not seen fleas or ticks, and Cigger/mites bites on the paws seem to be reducing.

Works great for a few days then fades out.
This product alone will not fix your flea problem. We saw a decrease in fleas for a few days after application, but it only lasts a few days and they're back full force. This is a good product, but by itself isn't amazing. You'll need additional treatments for your home/yard.

Great Results Without the Big-Brand Price
Iโve been really impressed with this flea medicine. It works just as well, if not better, than some of the bigger-name brands Iโve used. It was effective, easy to use, and my pets have done great with it. For the price, I think itโs a great value. Would definitely recommend!

High risk of PERMETHRIN toxicity!
Horrible, toxic PERMETHRIN! Watch for diarrhea, vomiting, stomach upset, loss of appetite, or irritation at the application site in the 1st 48 hours (probably in the 1st 12 hours) and WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY with lukewarm water and some dish soap or at least a good normal to oily scalp formula human shampoo (not a wimpy baby shampoo or dog shampoo that won't dissolve the oily carrier it's in). Then take your dog to the vet. Permethrin is a very toxic pesticide, and it is very concentrated in these drops. I will never use anything with permethrin again. I usually avoid it because of its dangers, but TevraPet doesn't seem to make their imidacloprid-pyriproxyfen drops anymore - and other manufacturers are also putting permethrin in all their products. PERMETHRIN IS VERY DANGEROUS. Thank heavens I realized what was going on and washed it off. I don't think I'll have to take my dog to the emergency vet, but I'm watching her very closely. She began to have diarrhea about 3-4 hours after application, and I stupidly blamed something she ate on our walk, but she kept getting sicker throughout the day, wouldn't eat, and couldn't get her abdomen comfortable. She kept shifting like her guts hurt, then she began throwing up. After about 4 times in an hour and a half, I suddenly remembered the flea drops had permethrin in them and I tossed her in the tub. Poor baby. She's sleeping now, and I'm watching her like a hawk for any more symptoms. I know she will need a while to feel better, but she shouldn't get any worse now that the stuff is off of her. It's important to know that my dog hasn't shown any sensitivity to permethrin in the past, but she's never had such a concentrated product before, and never s spot-on containing permethrin. Hopefully she'll be fine, but BE CAREFUL. Better yet, bit the bullet and pay the big money for a prescription product from your vet.
