PetSafe Disposable Litter Box, Fresh Scent, 4.3 lb Bag, Travel

I’ve had to travel with my cat several times over the years, and litter has always been a problem, especially on multi-day trips. This has made my life so much easier and I’ll never buy another travel litter box again. My cat loooooves to dig in his litter. Sometimes, I think he was an archaeologist in a past life. He kicks litter around like he’s at a New Years Eve party and he’s drunkenly tossing confetti. This box did a great job of minimizing the mess while still letting him attempt to strike oil. Easy to assemble, it took less than five minutes to have everything popped up ad the litter dumped in the pan and ready to use. Clean up was super easy, too. When we were done, we just reversed the pop up process and it folded back down into itself so we could just drop it into a garbage bag. No trying to hose down a dirty plastic pan (ew) or trying to clean up thousands of tiny rocks that have formed an asteroid belt around the box (also ew). Much easier than what we even do at home! I was concerned that he might pee through to the floor - the litter box is just cardboard, after all. Not exactly something you’d want to try to sail across the ocean in. To my surprise, I never found a leak. And believe me, I checked. Whatever is in that litter is very good. For a little additional stability, you may want to use the top of the box on the bottom or top of the cube. It makes it a little more sturdy. The litter is non-clumping, and I thought it was a little dusty - but I have asthma and I’m a little sensitive. If you need to travel with your cat, buy one of these. It will make your life so much easier.

This was incredibly easy to use! I was really concerned at how well it would work but it proved to be invaluable on our trip. We only used half of the bag of crystal littler as we have a small cat. The littler trapped the odor immediately. At the the different locations, I just fold down the box and packed it away. Clean up was so easy. I would definitely recommend this and will purchase it again if Sugar travels with us again.

We just completed a move from Colorado to Minnesota. One of the biggest concerns we had was how to deal with the litter box situation for our cat. She normally uses the Breeze system, ut there was no way I was going to drag that thing in my vehicle and into the hotels each night of our 3 day trip! Enter: PetSafe disposable Litter box! I bought the multi pack and we were able to utilize a new disposable box each evening when we stopped and fold it down and leave it to be tossed out the next morning. (I did pack large kitchen trash bags to put them in each morning as a peace offering for housekeeping at the hotels!) The only downside to these is the disposable scoops were clumsy and not very effective- which made it a bit messy. Overall, I highly recommend these. They each come with more than enough litter in each box, are easy to utilize, come compact and sealed individually, and are super convenient. The can definitely be used longer than just one time/night as well, that was just how I chose to utilize them for our long trip. Just consider having your own scoop if you plan to use these on a longer- term basis.

I had a 1500mi drive and an ornery cat and this helped mediate a TON of stress. We left it set up the whole drive packed between boxes (we packed blankets on top of it but would not recommend much weight on top) in the backseat and let kitty out of his carrier on every stop to use it. It looks small in the photo but a) kitty is fat and b) he's a weird pooper, has to be halfway out of the box and c) he had plenty of space to turn around and sniff all the corners. In my experience, the pan does not leak, the litter that it comes with is not something I would use in the house but is PERFECT for this use. It's sturdy, and its big enough for my 15lb cat to use. I would absolutely recommend this as a travel litter box.

I purchased this for my. last trip across country for the fur babies & it was a great way to see how they liked crystals. I really liked the box & how its collapsible, which is perfect for traveling, & keeping the odor in. The one thing I didn't like was the "scooper" that came with it. I found that to be fairly useless for it's intended purpose. I did, however, find the "scooper" to be useful for blocking a small hole in the back of the box when it was fully extended. If I had to travel across country again, I would definitely use this again. The price was also really awesome.

The boxes are pretty easy to set up (unless you get one put together incorrectly by the manufacturer). However, the entry hole was a bit small for most of my adult cats, and the first time one sat on top (as cats do), it collapsed. The litter is nice, and my cats are accustomed to using it. No really strong odors, so that's great. The scoops provided are pretty flimsy, so having a regular scoop is best. Overall, with some modifications (removing the top), the litter boxes worked well for traveling.

Very easy to assemble. It worked perfect for last minute visit from someone with a kitten. The box was plenty large for kitten.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered the same product in 2020. It was a much better quality. This product would not stay up and continued to collapse. The box leaked urine. Awful.

Used this item on a 3 day move. It fit behind the passenger seat in my car and didn’t stink AT ALL. Was easy to clean, but the disposable scoopers it comes with are VERY flimsy. Would highly recommend for anyone moving or travelling with a cat.

Works very well. Much better than I anticipated. The litter is great for controlling odours and the box itself is very sturdy. Excellent for travel use.

The hole to climb into is a bit higher so my two bigger cats had trouble getting in. Also it's not constructed well so cat pee leaked out of the tray after the third day. It's a good idea though and was convenient during my temporary moving situation.

My cat is a corner pee ki da guy so it leaks a wee bit. Not all the time but I have to make sure it's where it can be easily wiped up. No smell whatsoever from the box and when 7 days are up its easy to dispose. Good for cats who like to seriously fling their litter in the air!

I used this for a long distance move. Both of my cats took to it immediately in our hotel. One of them even used it in the car! I'm even switching to crystal litter now, as my fussier cat had even better bathroom habits while using this box!
