If you watch a few videos you can figure out how to remove the OEM cover, and install the new cover that contains the dashcam without too much trouble. Wiring is very easy and straight forward with the harness you're given. After you install the Fitcamx app on your phone, you establish your wifi connection. But, you need to MAKE SURE YOU DISABLE ANDROID AUTO FIRST on your phone. The Fitcamx app will not connect as long as long as Android Auto is enabled. The instructions do not make this clear, and it took me about an hour before I finally figured it out. Once the app is connected, you're good to go. It's kind of a pain to keep switching back and forth (from Android Auto to Fitcamx app, and back), but the camera records regardless of what system you're in (as long as your engine is on). And, it produces very clear videos! The app is easy to use, and you can either download specific videos to your phone, or remove the micro sd card and download the videos straight to your computer. All in all, it's a pretty good dash cam system. On my 2024 RAV4 it looks very OEM-like (no exposed wires and a cover that exactly resembles the original). It records automatically as soon as you start your car (each video is dated and time stamped). At 4K, and with a 256GB micro sd card, it's an excellent system for the price.

Totally worth it! First off, easy installation, watched several videos before doing it but also it came with a paper instructions. The wires were long enough that I had to bundle the extra cordage and hide it. Downloaded the app but also added a bigger memory card just in case. The camera quality is meh, it’s not 4k but it allows you to see license plates decently. You can adjust the setting so you can see both front and back at the same time or be able to just view one or the other. You can also take pictures right quick by pressing the button at the top. The audio is clear. The cool thing I noticed is if your car suddenly stops, you may hit something or whatnot, it locks the video and places it in a different folder for easy download. The only beef I have with it is there is no indicator letting you know the memory card is full and it won’t just overwrite over old data. You can’t view it as a video/image from the memory card, you have to use the app in order to view it. File format is not viewable without the app. It’s not bad but it’s hella slow if you have to download a large file. Had it over the summer, nothing melted and it’s still running.

Camera was packaged really nicely and was easy to install on a 2025 XSE Hybrid RAV4. Took around 15 minutes to install and was smooth. Camera quality is nice and app has quick response. Really enjoy how flat the camera is and appear to be OEM. App works nicely and is easy to use (does conflict with CarPlay or the Toyota App if you have that a bit). The video quality is very clear and perfectly placed. I really appreciate that I can view the videos without sitting and downloading. Hated downloading others to just end up downloading the wrong file. Can’t wait to purchase one for my wife’s car.

This thing fits perfectly and works straight away. I was very impressed with how easy it was to install. When removing the old cover, I strongly suggest simply using your thumb and push down with some small amount of force and it will slide off....this is much easier than using a tool to pry it off where you risk breaking a connecting clip. Support was great as they contacted me to make sure I was ordering the right device for my car. I appreciated that even though I was certain based on what was was already written on their Amazon checklist. You can adjust the resolution and it will loop automatically - meaning record over old vids once it fills up the card. The night vision is good and you can turn on/off sound recording and the camera itself. It can also take photos with a touch of a button on the device (next to the on/off button) The seamlessness of its fit along with a solid camera at a decent price and the ease of install make this a must have in my book. Highly recommend

Definitively the simplest install of all the dash cams I've done, after I got replacement for one that had SD card issues, the quality is well made and can be done by almost anyone. Hopefully lasts in the high heat of enclosed car, so far so good after one week.

The picture quality is great, the rear camera seems a bit cheap but it also looks good. It fits amazingly and doesn't impair your view. The only problem I noticed while it worked was that it would not record unless you connected to it via your phone, which is annoying since your phone will default to it for data which it does not provide obviously. If you need directions through your phone while driving you have to start the camera then exit connection with the camera and hope it doesn't stop recording. If you try to change the password so no one else can easily connect to it, it throws a fit and wont let you reconnect until you factory reset it. Unfortunately while leaving work today I went to set it up for the drive home and couldn't connect. I noticed the lights weren't flashing like usual and nothing I tried would power it back on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, cycled vehicle power, pressed the reset button, nothing would turn it on. Hopefully the customer service is helpful but right now I cant give it more than 1-star since it died less than a week after purchase.

Purchased for a 2024 RAV. Install was a snap for both from and rear cameras. Picture quality is good both day and night. Looks OEM fully integrated. Highly recommend Fitcamx.

Veramente ottima, molto discreta, si nota appena, immagini molto nitide, dovrebbero fornirla di serie su tutte le vetture. Se si potesse anche fare in modo che registri la velocità sarebbe eccezionale Inoltre l'ho trovata estremamente semplice da montare complimenti per la realizzazione di questo oggetto

Excelente producto, muy sencillo de montar y encaja perfectamente en un Toyota Rav4, nadie se da cuenta que lo llevo instalado. Pros: Graba continuamente mientras el coche está en marcha. Gran calidad de imagen Nadie nota la instalación. Es plug and play. La app es muy intuitiva y sencilla La conectividad con la app del móvil muy fácil. Contra: Si eliges la opción de cámara trasera, te llevará más de tiempo la instalación Difícil de camuflar la cámara trasera. Por ese precio que no incluya tarjeta micro SD. Yo le hecho en falta que lleve una batería para poder tener la opción de grabar cuando el coche está apagado como si fuera modo centinela, por lo demás perfecto.
