Great product with minor trimming
These work very well for what they were designed to do. I love finger grooves on my 1911 handguns and these allow you to get that while still having whatever normal grip panels you would like to utilize. You WILL need to trim them to size to accommodate ambidextrous safety versions but a pair of scissors / shears / whatever will take care of that no problem. After modification, they work on my Taurus PT1911 pistols without issue.

Suddenly, the gun just felt 'Right' in my hand!
I put these on my 1911, and immediately noticed an improvement in how the gun 'felt' in my hand. When I'm shooting, it just feels 'right', I'm not thinking about my grip, I don't notice the recoil (10mm), and 8" steel target at 50 yards is an easy shot (iron sights) I warmed the grip with a heat gun (to make it more pliable) during installation. Installation was simple, with minimal trimming to achieve a perfect fit. I've recommended it to multiple friends/relatives with 1911's.

Install these under your classic grips for improved handling and ergonomics. They’re inexpensive, rugged, and allow you to keep whatever aesthetic you want for your grips without making them oversized or cumbersome.

Kinda works
It fits but I wish the front part of the grip went up higher. It's too low snd the rough part of the metal stapling still gets you on you middle finger

Nice finger grooves
Theses are great to add finger grooves and put on custom grip or keep the original. Doesn’t add hardly , I mean a tiny bit of width to the grips. I can’t really tell a difference in the width with these installed. Will be putting more on my 1911’s. Great for the price
