CamelBak Crux Reservior on/Off Valve - Grey/Blue - One Size

This valve is better than my original CamelBak, but this item goes not come with the rubber bite valve piece. You need to buy one separately or save the old one.

Great replacement, and getting it from Amazon means we can spend less time shopping and more time doing other things... like... swimming and hiking! We had our bladders in the fridge and put stuff on top of one, breaking this part. The replacement came in fast and was easy to make!

Improved version of the drink valve. Lever is easier to operate than the old version

The valve works well. I replaced the older style valve with this one since my older one leaked. The instructions are a bit lacking in my opinion. I heated the tube in hot water to make it install on the valve most of the way. The instructions didnt mention heatimng the tubes tho. I couldnt get the tubes on the valve at all without heating them first.

I ordered this because my daughter chewed the mouth piece off her brand new Camelbak. I was under the impression based on the picture it came with 2 mouth pieces and valves. So I'm just posting here because it dosent come with 2 or the mouth piece. It is just one valve! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I bought a Camelbak Rogue 2.0 L hydration pack back in 2016 for my motorcycle trip from Orlando to Sturgis via the Grand Canyon, Moab, and Yellowstone. The unit worked great and a hydration backpack is really nice when you ride with a full coverage helmet. The main complaint I had was that the mouthpiece valve was a 90 degree angle and made getting it up into my mouth with the helmet on difficult. Well 4 years later I decided to see if there was a better mouthpiece and this item looked like it would fit the bill. This valve is advertised as fitting the Crux Reservoir and I have the Rogue old style reservoir. I read somewhere that this valve would only fit the Crux. Well I bought it any way and was able to make it work. The hose nipple is larger but there is enough stretch in the old hose to accommodate the larger size. The mouthpiece is the same. Anyway I'm happy with the result and though I haven't tried it yet with the helmet on the bike I'm sure it will be much easier to use.

Great addition to any hydration bladder. Helps prevent leaking. Easy to use.

Wish I had bought one years ago, no leakage as the valve mechanism works perfectly.

Erst fand ich das Teil im Vergleich zu anderen etwas teuer aber ich muss sagen: Qualität zahlt sich aus! Angenehm ist auch der Winkel, denn andere mit entweder 90 Grad-Knick oder ganz gerade sind nicht wirklich gut, wenn man den Trinkkopf nicht halten kann.
