It works perfectly for what I am doing

This holds most of a Costco sized bag of ground coffee. The coffee stays fresh long enough to use a Costco sized bag, the container opens and closes easily and it has a nice look. I highly recommend this container. I also have several smaller Tightvac containers and they are also great. It isn't a perfect vacuum seal but if you are just looking to extend the freshness of ground coffee beyond what you'd get by storing it in the bag, look no further!

These are absolutely amazing, first off. However, if you sometimes have trouble visualizing items real life size while shopping on Amazon like me you may be surprised at the size. it is Quite tall but it has a good diameter that it sits very firmly with out tipping over, etc. It truly is smellproof(until you open it folks, then you smell it then reseal) A great product. the bottom piece doesn't seem to mind being dropped lightly but the tops will crack.

Excellent product, just like the 1 pound version I already have, now I have one for decaff, and one for regular, keeps the coffee bean fresh, can't detect any coffee aroma when its closed, suction on the vent is working as designed. Easy opening, just grab the lid from the top, thumb over the button, press the button and pull up at the same time, let gravity and the weight of the container to do the rest. One hand on the lid, another hand with a scoop, in and out within seconds. Going to buy another one soon.

Love this container! It is truly airtight. Currently have 2, 1 smaller one to keep a small amt of ground coffee in & this larger 1 1/2 lb to keep the remainder of my beans. I have been extremely happy with quality; so much so that I'm preparing to purchase a few more to store loose leaf tea. It's worth the one time cost to purchase a truly air tight container for my coffee beans, loose leaf teas & other items; these are pricey products to store & we all know air is the enemy, by protecting our consumables so they'll last longer these containers more than pay for themselves. Ziplocks just don't do the job. Food Saver's are great but time consuming to get in and out of in a hurry; I have one of those too & have used it for everything! Another wonderful product.

My husband & I started drinking coffee recently. One particular brand comes in vacuum sealed bags - but only in 8 ounce bags, so I order several at a time. I wanted something that would hold more then 2 bags because the bags take up a lot of cabinet space. I ordered the Cobalt first and the canister hold a ton of the coffee beans I have. I ordered 2 of the Rose ones for the ground coffee and for my Tea. This canister holds over 45 bags of my Tea...that's the amount I had and there's still room for more!! So far in the 2nd one I put 2 and a half bags of our ground coffee and it's perfect! The cap works just fine. If you don't push the "button" on the top side, you can't really push the cap on, nor does it come off. That's a good thing! Yes, these are a bit pricey but in my honest opinion - well worth it. I may just order more for my chocolates & sugars!

Keeps item fresher. You may want to set it on a counter before you remove or replace the lid because it can get stuck if not straight.

Top shattered after a couple months. Back to mason jars, just as durable and 20x cheaper.

Estoy muy satisfecha con este producto, sella muy bien al vacío. Lo utilizo para guardar la levadura y me la ha mantenido fresca y sin que se me caduque.

looks and feels like cheap plastic. it pushes air out but doesn’t create a vacuum so not as good as other products. more like a tupperware container. i was going to use it to store coffee beans but i dont think it is good enough for that. so i will probably make do and use it to get an extra few days of shelf life for an opened bag of chips or crackers.
