I searched carefully on the product page and couldn't find a listing of "what's in the box". This was the least expensive sling I could find. All the others included nail clippers and other items which I didn't want.I could find no clear indication anywhere if the hanging hooks and straps were included or the only item was the sling.Decided I can improvise the straps and hooks if needed because didn't want to spend more. Pleasantly surprised, the straps and hooks are included with the sling. (Check the photo.)The cats don't like it. But getting a cat into the sling and trimming the nails is MUCH faster than struggling nail by nail while trying to hold the cat.Another commenter mentioned the animal escaping.I may follow up with a head cover purchase. One cat REALLY didn't like it and tried to scratch and bite while in the sling. She escaped once. Then I put a large sock over her head. That calmed her so she didn't even try to escape again and I was able to complete the nail trimming easily because she stopped struggling. The other cat just complained about hanging in the sling but she didn't try to scratch or bite.Depending on your cat, if you need this to trim nails, you might be wise to consider a head cover too.

The contraption was easy enough to set up and the clippers are sturdy and of good quality (I can’t imagine even trying to use the file on Olli as he’d have a major hissy fit, I’m sure). However, Olli wasn’t at ALL impressed with or calm about hanging in the sling 5 feet up in the air like Tarzan. He thrashed and yowled and hissed and flung his very sharp hind leg claws all around. He definitely didn’t become the serene and compliant creature I read some people’s cats became the moment they found themselves hanging in midair. I did manage to get all of his front paws clipped but it was an ordeal and I still got about the same amount of scratches as the method I’ve used for 11-1/2 years; putting Olli on his back on my legs and rubbing his tummy and talking sweetly to him the whole time, which does work well generally even though he complains and gives me a scratch or two. I’ll try this hammock thing one more time just to see if Olli comes around about it, but I’m doubtful.

Promised it would be like new condition but covered in white hairs and didn’t come with all the pieces. Impossible to use as is. Fit my 6 pound animal perfectly.
