For Husqvarna 224L just remove the string spool. Leave all other hardware in place. Put the blade on followed by the black adapter with the bulge into the blade followed by shallower cup (it has the proper hole) then the nut with the threads that fit and tighten. Make sure the blade stays centered.The string cutter/guard is best removed because it just gets in the way and really does nothing.Hit lots of rocks and other hard stuff and bent the end of the blades a bit but it did a fine job. This 25cc machine powered it just fine.May want to put a sharper edge on the blades if your going through more than 1 inch wood like the scrub oak I chewed through.

These blades do a great job cutting stems that the string will not. I have many wild roses here and over a couple years they develop stalks that are 1/2" in diameter. These blades cut right thru. My installation was easy, bolted right on. The nut is a reverse thread ny-lock. I've removed it several times but am thinking I should look for a replacement as I would not want to be around if the this blade got loose and went flying. They do need to be sharpened out of the box and frequently, but it's well worth it for their performance.

The universal adaptor come with the kit does not fit echo srm236 trimmer. I had to make modification to make it fit. The blades cut tall grass and small trees really well.

So I was looking for awhile and wanted the Stihl name brand version of this, but since I am poor, I went ahead and got this, not expecting much from it. It was half the price and came with two blades, so its essentially 25% of the price. It may not be "as good" but its more than 25% as good, so I feel like it is worth the money and will be sufficient for most homeowners.

Did not work with my Robi trimmer.

Works ok on grass and weeds less than 1/2" thick. Wasn't the magic wand I was hoping for. DIdn't fit my troy-bilt weed-eater, had to customize the washer to get it on.

I had to replace the original blade from my Husqvarna brush cutter and saw these on Amazon. A quick replacement and I was back to getting after those tough areas!
