We have had our chair for 3 weeks now, and are using it everyday. My husband and I love the variety of pre-programmed massages the chair comes with, and are starting to use the manual programming capabilities of the chair. We are finding that we can get the kind of massage we want by combining a pre-programmed setting with the specific massage components it offers for a really satisfying massage. A number of our family members have used the chair, and only one felt it was too hard of a massage; the others have loved their experience. My husband feels that his back is loosening up, as well as that the circulation in his legs is improving. I find that my muscles are more relaxed and my back is in alignment better than before using the chair. It was delivered within a few days, and the deliverymen brought it right to the room we wanted it in. The assembly took us a few hours, but wasn't too difficult, even though it required some common sense when the directions were not very well explained. I have been very impressed with the customer service in the couple of times I had to call about little things. I had to choose between spending our money on airfare to Hawaii, or buying this chair, and I feel that I made the right choice. This is so well built that it compares to chairs we have tried out that sell for 2 and 3 times the price, and will be something we will enjoy for years to come. The massage is great, and combined with the compression, it really is a great value for the money. Now, 5 years later, we have had no problems with this chair. We use it probably once a week, on average, and I have found it to be very helpful when my back is out or my muscles are really tight. It helps me get back to feeling good again.

I was looking for a massage chair that offered a Glute massage as well as a stretch function. This was the closest match that I found within my budget, and overall I’m very happy with it. The yoga stretch function does extend your body to give you a nice stretch, but I wish it took it a little bit further. I love the glute massage, and even the head and neck massage, which surprised me, because usually when I get a real massage I tell them not to touch my shoulders or neck. I don’t really have anything negative to say about the chair, other than I wish the stretch function took it a couple notches further. Everything else is just awesome and I am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone. I am 5‘10“ and 260 pounds. But my wife weighs a little over 100 pounds at 5’5” and she loved it as well. It also has a “senior mode” which is great because my 73-year-old dad can enjoy it as well without worrying about it being too rough for him. Assembly was pretty straightforward as well. I did it by myself, though it probably would have been even easier with an assistant. I would recommend this chair to anyone. The only issue i have is that once a program ends, the chair just shuts off in a reclined position and doesn’t return to the original upright position. My workaround is turning it on then off again then it returns to the sitting position. If anyone k owe how to fix that please let me k ow cause it’s kind of annoying.

This chair is a big disappointment. The air bags that are meant to massage the feet just push my feet right out, so I get none of the pressure AND my feet are pushed away from the rollers. ZERO points for foot massage. The main rollers stop before they reach the upper shoulder, neck, and occipital muscles. ZERO points for shoulder/neck massage. The chair does a decent job on the low & mid back, but the programs are fixed and the “manual control” doesn’t offer as much control as I would like. In my opinion, it isn’t worth the price.

Day 1: chair arrives. I'm excited. I spend about an hour putting it together. I take it for a test ride and it's nice, but painful on my low back/hips as the rollers slide over them. I try to ignore that bit so I can enjoy the rest of it. I add the extra padding to the back and probably in the chair for an hour or so. Day 2: I wake up to pain in my lower back/hips where the rollers were. I call good price world. They explain their return policy ($420 return shipping) and ask me to call Kahuna service and see if they can help. I try the chair again, now the rollers are VERY painful on my back, so I'm arching my back to avoid them. Not relaxing at all.. Day 3: I continue my back and forth with good price world. Day 4: I contact Kahuna. They suggest a few things that make the chair easier to use, but nothing for the low back problem. They offer to send more cushions. I don't think that will help, given how little the cushion I added did. Day 5: I was supposed to get a call from Kahuna service. Nothing. Weekend: nothing. Day 8: I call Kahuna, get a hold of the service manager. He says it's the "first time they've ever had this complaint" and maybe I just need to get used to the chair. No. I've sat in many massage chairs in my life and this one is painful. He says he doesn't think it's defective or broken. I email good price world with this response. They say they can't do anything about the $420 return shipping. Side note: the air pressure on the feet was extremely painful as well. A bad design if you ask me, squeezing the feet hard from the sides. I found out you can adjust this pressure by clicking Air > Pressure > Soft, which is annoying to do every single time you sit in it, but is at least a solution. Now I'm feeling very disappointed. Not only do I not have the massage chair I hoped for, but I also paid $420 for a week long rental of a terrible massage chair that took up probably 8 hours of my life dealing with. Yes partly my fault for ordering a massage chair online, which I will never do again, but I can't be OK with shelling out a couple hundred dollars to return something that is in my mind defective.

I think the chair is great. I have had it for 4 months now, and I use it every day after work. I also spend hours in it on the weekends. I am a 300lb competitive strength athlete (power lifting, strongman, highland games), and this has been great for my recovery. I lift heavy 10 hrs a week, and compete in 8-12 competitions a year. I strain my lower back regularly, and constantly beat my self up. This chair has been working great for me. The programs are ok, it would be nice to build and save a custom program, but I like using the partial range, and targeting the lower back and hips. The foot massager is very aggressive, which I like, and the air bags work well. I have never used a 10k massage chair, so i don't know how it would compare, but this things works for me. This does not replace going to get a massage. I still go every 3 -4 weeks for a sports massage, they dig in and break up your muscles. This is just nice to have on a daily basis to get blood flowing, relax the muscles and ease the tension. My girlfriend is 5ft 0in 110 lb, and she loves it. Theres often fights for who get the chair first. I did remove the head pillow they provide, and I use a neck pillow for air planes, it brought the chair to next level.

After two years of use, the massage chair remains in relatively decent condition. There are definitely things I like about it and then there were some features that I just wish were better. Among all the massage chairs sold on Amazon, the price for this chair is definitely not cheap. However, after visiting a massage chair store in person and tried out various models including more expensive brands and models, I didn't find the higher priced ones to have more useful features so I settled on this one. I would say I am satisfied with it after two years of use. The only thing was just that the LCD remote started faded out and lost colors after a few months of use. I messaged the seller on Amazon about a possible replacement remote within warranty, but was just given a number to call instead of having my inquiry handled directly. I didn't really like the stored programs that much, and have mostly using the manual selections. I found a consistent powerful massage to be more relaxing of my sore muscles over the stored programs. I felt the shoulders and necks, which are my most tight spots, are somewhat neglected. I felt a massage cushion under $200 would actually have massaged my shoulders and neck much better. The airbags weren't that powerful for the sides of my shoulders either. I was mostly using the massage chair to massage my back on the "kneed and tap" manual feature along in the zero gravity position to relax my tight back. I hope the shoulders and neck part could be given more considerations in the new generations.

I owned an older chiropractic massage chair and have wanted to replace it for years but I was so worried I would not be able to achieve the same quality relief then I was receiving from my current old worn-out chair. My only regret is that I did not purchase the chair sooner. I am on the heavier side and I work in an extremely labor-intensive job 12 hour days are not uncommon. This chair has brought me so much relief that literally at times really chokes me up. There are so many different types of massages I still have not gotten through them all but with manual mode I'm able to design specific targeted areas and the options are Limitless. I have reviewed many products throughout my life this chair by far has had the biggest impact for a major purchase that I made in my lifetime. It does just as much has chairs that are three times as expensive and believe me I had tested around a dozen. If you're even wavering a little bit stop and just buy the chair I promise you it will pay off the first time you sit in it.

Love my new massage chair! I have fibromyalgia and a bit of arthritis in my lower back. Before, my lower back specifically the piriformis muscles, were so tight would "twitch and pinch" & I'd feel like I couldn't move. Bending over to pick something up was doable but standing back up straight was another issue. Trying to find a comfortable position to sleep was hard, this has helped sooo much. First - I did tons of research & price comparisons on massage chairs & the Kahuna came out on top- only 3 complaints with Better Business Bureau compared to others with few dozen complaints. Second - got a great deal on this particular model in comparison to other sites. Third- I have contacted this dealer a couple of times & have had quick response. Now about the chair: came in 2 boxes, 1 very heavy & large box with the chair & arm portions & a smaller one with the foot portion. It took both my husband & son to bring in the house. Chair is large & does take up a good bit of space in my living room. Assembly was easy with 2 people & directions. There are some of the pre-programs & the auto setting on the remote that can be VERY rough. Yes the air bags on this can squeeze very hard but can be used without using the foot portion or use a gentler mode. There is an emergency stop on the remote if needed. The are enough settings to find something that works for you. My only complaint is that the rollers don't come higher on my upper shoulders/neck. According to the manual (which I did have to download, the one that comes with the chair was not as informative) there is a way to adjust that but have not had any luck so far.
